How is everyone on this wet morning? We had buttermilk pancakes with maple syrup for breakfast and soon will be hitting the road for a road trip today.

For all the newbies.. next month we start the "look out" seeing who is the firstto spot the christmas merchandise in the stores ( real dispalys.. not just the passing craft item..)- usually Garden Ridge gets started in late June.....

All the painting done!
All the brush clearing done!
All the repairs done!
Furniture arranging completed!

(Now next weekend, the family can enjoy the place for the Memorial Day holiday before the renters arrive in June.)

1) To Minta, who selfelessly and unasked stepped up to the plate and pinched-hit a homerun of a count in my absence. Not only that, but the 1/2 Season Milestone was duly recognized. THANKS!!
2) To Holiday, who kept our peak-of-the-week appointment! (I was there in spirit, my friend!)

Sunny and bright here on Preakness Day.
We stand at 74 currently here in Raleigh but storms are forecast for this afternoon with more rain tomorrow.
Oh, well. We had nice weather at the coast.

watching the Eurovision Song Contest right now...the Europeans know what it is, right now there is a guy who sounds exactly like Ronan Keating......I hate it...ok...I admit..I am no Boyzone or Ronan Keating fan...but that´s not the reason I don´t like it.....why sound like somebody who is there already?...it would be like somebody sounding exactly like Whitney Houston or Michael Jackson...You don´t need two people sounding the same...anyway....Germany is next...haha...last year we were last...curious on how we are next endin up this year.

Good Morning Friends! A beautiful day here this morning. Looks as if the hi for today may get up to 84. The family and I decided to go to a local fishing access along the Yellowstone yesterday evening. We roasted some hot dogs and had some chips, salads and some shrimp cocktail along with it. We sat at a picnic table along the water. Seen a few "rafters" go by. The water is up really high right now and dirty/muddy from the spring run off. And of coarse really cold too. It will be awhile before I decide to get in a raft to float the river. I hope you all have a Super Sunday! cheesy

The end of another week is upon us. A week which saw us move into the second half of the journey back to our glorious Christmas Season.
The count:
Days to the Season: 180
Days to Christmas Day:222
And in case you are wondering, our next Milestone, the 200-Day Christmas Day window, is 3 weeks from tomorrow.
(Can we be that close to the 100's to Christmas Day?? Impossible!)

Rainy but bright here in Raleigh, telling me it won't be a wash out.
We stand at 72 currently but our local weather service says the temps will be falling today and will be down into the 40's tonight. BRRRR!
That's too cold for mid May!

Good morning friends! Been a couple days since I had time to post....things are really busy here trying to close out one job and start the next! I'm excited, but workign hard. I wouldn't have it any other way. Weather is supposed to get better here. I can't remember an April and May being as wet as these two months have been. The high today is mid 60's and the low tonight is low 40's????? What's all this about??? Usually, we are at about mid 80's if not high to low 90's!! Oh well, enough high, mediums, and lows! Gotta go! Work today. See you guys later!
