hope y´all are alright and are enjoying Your Sunday....Kandice had a high fever again....it turned out she has a cold that doesn´t seem to come out....other than lightly infected ears and the fever...I feel so sorry for her....I put on some Thomas DVD for her to watch...I will give her lots of fluids to drink (which she does anyway)...and cuddle her lots...hope that helps

Yesterday was a long, long day at work with various events and then when hubby and I went to pick up our daughter from a friend's house, we ended up staying the night over there b/c it was too late to drive home. So we just enjoyed a nice evening with friends. We watched "He's Just Not that Into You." It was cute and very true about a lot of girls! LOL
Got up this morning and drove home. On the way we stopped at one of the malls in the area and got Kaylin a bunch of new summer clothes. The Cabella's was having a fundraiser for a Veteran's group and so we had grilled brats for lunch from them and went fishing in their little stock pool. We caught a pretty big fish, but of course threw it back. It was fun for Kaylin's first time fishing, though!
Good news is, now that we are caught up on Kaylin's clothes, I can get some new running shoes next paycheck and then - extra money should be free to go to the Christmas savings!!! YAY!!! Especially with only 194 days to go! Its catching up quick to us!

I hope Kandice is better soon, Tanja! I also hope everyone had a great weekend! I'm currently watching a very dark cloud getting closer - it is black out there, but no thunder heard or lightning seen. My weekend sped by, didn't get a whole lot accomplished but I did house sit for a friend and ended up seeing someone I worked with years ago. She said I hadn't changed at all. I'm not sure if that is a good thing or not. I'll have to think about that one for a bit.

Good morning all - happy Monday!
It is raining here this morning. Should be a busy day at work for us, then! Yay! I've got a ton of projects and I really need to be focused this week at work. I do not focus well - I don't know. Too much of a procrastinator! Wish me luck!
My hubby and I tried a new church yesterday evening. It only had about 25 people. It was really interesting. I kind of liked it. Never been to a church that small before, but it is a newer church and very community based. Everyone there is around my age. Plus it is only 10 min. from my house. My current church is 45 min. away and there are no couples hubby and I's age. It is very frustrating. We'll probably go back a couple more times and see how it works.

it is a beautiful sunny day here, going up to 23c.
Christmas seems far away when it gets warm, but with only 192 days to go, we all know that is not true!
I am finishing up getting rid of the last of the garage sale items (off to the thrift store or the trash, which ever file fits!)
Now of course, the room needs to be rearranged as I no longer have a bunch of junk filling all those spaces. cheesy
