Was hoping the USA would win but you can never rule Brazil out
A friend of mine who lives in BC is pastoring 3 churches. He does one in the morning, one in the afternoon and one in the evening. They are all about an hours drive from each other. He loves doing it, except in the winter, the mountains can get pretty wild that time of the year.

In my neck of the woods, that's a school year!
Yesterday I learned of a possible change in plans for this year's holiday. We may be spending Christmas with our entire family together in northern California. Now if I could only cause it to snow in the Bay Area…

Monday again.....darn.....where do the weekends go? Oh well, I'm off to work....hope you all have a fantastic day.....exercised this morning....it's like 70 degree out...this time last week it was almost 15 or 20 degrees warmer....so there is a bright point. Have a great day!
Good Morning! I am sooo tired this morning. My son is sick and did not sleep good lastnight therefore I did not sleep good. I took the day off from work. Waiting for the doctor's to open so I can call for an appoinment. Nothing worse then a sick toddler. Good thig I made a big pot of coffee this morning. I am going to need it.
For most people here in the States, this week is a short work week with many places closing Friday in celebration of the 4th.

Started the CIJ celebration a week early. LOL My daughter wanted to watch Christmas movies yesterday so we watched Santa Claus 3 and The Grinch (with Jim Carey). She wanted to make M&M Cookies yesterday but I did not have any M&M's. Looks like I will be running out to the store later to get some so we can make some cookies!!!
Here in Canada we all have Wednesday off for Canada day celebrations!! Part of our downtown is closed off for the day for a big street party. There is going to be a parade in the afternoon and fireworks as soon as it is dark enough. Parliament hill is working hard on the biggest celebration http://www.collineduparlement-parliamenthill.gc.ca/index-eng.html (click on picture to the right and it will pop up larger)
These celebrations accross the country are much better than anything you will find in the states, which is why we have ours first! cheesy

It was another hot weekend, over 100° both days. But at least we weren't at work, eh?
As mentioned above, this is a short work week. Our plant is closing Friday for Independance Day, so I'm grilling burgers & dogs for the inlaws and outlaws that afternoon, then we're going out to see the fireworks.
