Christmas Countdown - 2009

I have been driving a group of kids all week, but I have to tell you about on little girl. The first day I pulled the bus up she comes out of the building in her wheelchar, takes one look at me and with arms raised yells "yeah, my favorite bus driver!! I just knew they would send you!" She just made my day. cheesy

Got my first Christmas catalog on Tuesday, Terry's Village, and now we are at the 100 day mark...How cool is that!!!

I'm not wildly happy about the speed with which time is flying, but it sure will be nice to feel the chill in the air again...and see lights on houses, and feel the excitement...It may just be what this country needs at the moment to take our collective minds off of the craziness we are all experiencing and have us focus on Peace on Earth, Goodwill Towards Men...

It's going to be another hot, humid day here in south Georgia, but that's ok. It's supposed to hot & humid in August down here.

So we're at double digits till the season starts! 99 days!

I know what you mean about the time! With only 140 days to go all I can think about is all the stuff I get to do yet and how much fun it will all be!.

I am so happy at the thought of double digits to the season. It is supposed to finally get hot and humid here again this weekend - I am not looking forward to it personally speaking, but it will be REALLY good for business, so I guess I won't complain (too much? LOL)

Yesterday I went to St. Louis Bread Co. (Panera to the rest of you) and ordered a caramel latte and the pumpkin muffie. The lady was really nice and talking to me about how the pumpkin spice latte should be out soon and how that reminds her so much of fall and the upcoming holidays. We had a really nice talk about it! When I got to my car, I found that she slipped me TWO muffies instead of just one! Yay!!! Totally made my day and I had been having a bad day at that point!

Today it is off to the park for a playdate and then getting some work done! Have a wonderful day!

Oh! and I almost forgot! The Better Homes and Gardens Holiday Craft magazine came out this week and I picked it up last night! Yay!!!

There are some really cute craft ideas in there and they give the patterns and everything. This year they even included a few Halloween ideas that are cute. I definitely recommend you pick it up.

That is very well said Jayish! I do love so much the feelings of love and peace that are so much more abundant during the Christmas season. The world could definitely stand a dose of that right about now.

Should be drier for our trip to SC tomorrow and over the weekend.

Been a member alomst 4 months....joined on 4-15....at that time, we were on post 1730....and we were 212 days til the season...now hear we are....about one and half hours from being 99 days away....and all i can say is thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your group. Alot of happy hours have been spent here...and while I can't wait for the next 99 days to be over with....I truly look forward to the next 99 days with you....thanks guys!

We joined the same day and i completely agree with everything you said. I have loved coming on here and I look forward to getting on here everyday. I can't wait to go through the season with everyone here.cheesy
