Right you are, Brent!
After today, we will have completed Christmas Season Day 21 and be 21 days away from Christmas!
(Of course, the Season itself is not half through yet as we run it through New Years Day!)

I'm on the ball. I'm up late, too. Big hockey game still on TV!

I have been completely without a computer for the last 3 months or so......missed checking in here......one thing i have to say that i am surprised with alot of the negatives on A Christmas Carol that i read..I loved it and thought the only way to see it was in 3D.....Anywho..glad to be back after so long..hope all is well

Welcome back to ya, Snowman1971!

Welcome Back!!!!!

Friday morning, the first weekend of December is upon us!

The kids in our area have the day off school. I however have to go to school today. Us bus drivers have safety meetings every month, brush up on our skills, learn some new ones and get refreshed in the ones we already know.

Hope you all have a great day!!

CHRISTMAS SEASON DAY # 22

Good Morning, Everyone.

Days to Christmas Day: 21 (Three weeks from today, Folks!)

Wow! Really moving in on the big day, aren't we?
I'd better get crack'in on those last gifts I still need to get.

Well, we had a beautiful (but not too warm to be seasonal) day yesterday to get our Christmas tree!
As always, we got a Frasier Fir (is there really any other tree for Christmas??. You Just can't beat that aroma).
Got the tree at the Farmer's Market, then on to Logan's for our traditional dining room poinsettia and to get a sandwich at the "Seaboard Cafe".
Nice outing with my father!

Chilly here this morning where we stand at 42, but it is sunny and calm.
Temps in the upper 20's are expected very shortly.
(Now that will really seem seasonal!)

Have a Fabulous Friday, Friends!
And may the third-to-the-last Weekend-before Christmas get off to a Wonderous start for you this afternoon!

Welcome Back Snowman1971!!!!!!!!!!

Well here we are only three weeks from the big day. The christmas spirit is defintely picking up in my apartment complex. I have seen more apartments decorated this year than ever before. I never made on here yesterday. My mom was off work so I took her to do some shopping and while we were out the alternator went out on my truck. So I had to take it to my aunts house and replace it. It took me 15 minutes to take the old one off and 2 hours to put the new one on. Then it was home to watch polar express and do some wrapping. Today I am going to try to get caught up on all of the posts that I missed. I am also waiting on a call from my boss so I can figure out when I am going to go work. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Friday morning, my Christmas friends!

We got most of the pole-mounted Christmas banners down Main St. yesterday...they look great! I'll try to get a picture today.

I've spend most of the morning here trying to sell a big job, and I think I got it. That took a lot of phone calls and promises I hope I can keep! I'll make it work; baby needs a new pair of shoes.

I hope you all have a great day! cheesy

Good Morning (Seems a little odd to say that, since I've been checking in usually in the evening). A very windy day here today. As I sit here and type this in front a window looking out you can see the snow blowing off the neighbors rooftop. Anyone have any exciting plans for the weekend? I am thinking about starting a little baking. I have a great Christmas sugar cookie recipe...that I make every year. Nice thing is I can freeze these and decorate later if need be. Hope you all have a nice day and a wonderful and warm weekend!

Hey Everyone,

CHRISTMAS SEASON DAY # 23

Good Morning, Friends.

Days to Christmas Day: 20
(Hey! We're under three weeks, now!!)

Well, we have arrived, Folks.
That's right.
Based on years of observation, I have concluded that the first weekend in December is by far the biggest decorating weekend.
By the end of the day tomorrow, your neighborhood/town/city will likely be as Christmassy as it's going to get!

Chilly here again under rather overcast skies with rain predicted.
We stand at 49 degrees, currently.

OK, Everyone - get those decorations up if you haven't already.
(Heaven knows, we shouldn't let the general public at large beat us to the punch, now should we?)
.....and have a Stupendous Saturday!
