Here is one more post closer. I just learned I have to have surgery on April 2. I will be in a cast for a while, but hopefully my foot will be LOTS better than it is. I will tell you why in another post--just to add to our count!

Something has ripped in the fascia (not sure of the spelling) of my right foot. It is extremely painful, so right now I am in a walking boot. At first, I will have the regular white plaster cast. Then I will get a colored one of my choice (hot pink). My students will think I'm stylin'!!!

I also hope my foot will be better before the end of April because I have to be in a contest that requires I stand for a while. Hopefully I can pull it off! Tonight I am in a play (this is our third performance) in which I play a Southern belle in a comedy routine. I have to climb some steps to get up on stage, so I look quite awkward climing the steps in this big boot! But, we're raising money for charity, so I will definitely do it for that!

It is a chilly morning here in Alabama. My son has baseball practice this morning, but I thought I would pop in and say hello. I hope you all have a great day!

I have my shopping done, toilet seat replaced (by my son) house work done, lunch ate and cleaned up. I will be going to a 50th anniversary open house in about an hour when my mom gets here. I have been busy making icing apple blossoms and since I am now getting a tad cross eyed, thought I would hang out on the computer for awhile.
The weather here is chilly, but the sun is coming out and the snow is almost gone. I did some raking in the front yard and found that the tiger lilies are starting to come up.

Remember the prediction I had for the snow to be gone by the first week of March? Didn't happen. :cry:
I'm tired today. Not doing much of anything. Have to make up for it tomorrow. Finally time to tackle the "oops storage closet".

It's a little drizzly here in Northern California. I finished my second pot of coffee before lunchtime. I think my pot makes 12 cups. I am resting up before the last presentation of our charity production tonight. I am already wearing a walking boot so I really don't need the traditional "Break-a-leg" wishes!!! It is SNOWING! I don't know how much we are supposed to get, didn't watch the news yesterday, but hopefully, not much.
Today we will go to a breakfast buffet. I love breakfast buffets.
I have received a couple of friend requests, but whenever I try to go them, I get "the page is not available."
I will keep trying. Whoever/whomever sent them, please be patient with me. (I never know when it should have the "m")
Today is my dd's birthday. She is 24 years old.
