Hello everyone! I hope you all are having a great day.
Today was an off day for me. We have the NASCAR race in town this weekend so there was no school today. Monday is a teacher workday, so no kids. I am glad. My kids have had spring fever lately. Hopefully, they will get it out of their system for a while and settle down some. They have been very active lately.

Well, I can hardly believe it, but my vacation time has finally arrived! Today I'll be getting everything ready for our trip to Ibiza with family. I've been trying to do a little everyday so it won't be too much today...
We'll be gone until next Sunday...

It is going to be a nice warm day here for a change. Have to leave soon to get a bus and pick a group to shuttle them around town. Our church is having their annual spring cleaning bee today too. Also have someone picking up a cake at 1. After that I am free to do what I want. Have a fun vacation Elfspirit.

We had a thunderstorm early this morning - love the sound of thunder except when it is directly overhead as it sets off, Bo, our Wuss Dog Extraordinaire. Today is a busy day for me - have to gather stuff to put in the garage sale which is going to be Thursday - Saturday. It should be a lot of fun!!

Well, for the opportunity to see someone high on coffee, I just might try to keep my eyes open for just a bit, anyway.
Good Morning, Friends and Fellow Weekend Lovers.
It's bright (maybe TOO bright) sunny and calm here in Raleigh at this hour where we are already at 75 bound for a predicted high of 93 by this afternoon. And that's just too hot for April even in the South - even with Global Warming - even with Binger's coffee percolator turned on high. (In fact, I'm not sure they will even need a perculator.)
The count, to start our weekend:
Days to the Season: 202
Days to Christmas Day:244
Hey! Tomorrow, guys! The 1/3 Christmas Day Milestone!
Then, next day - the 200-Day Season window.
Doesn't get any better than that.
(I believe I'll take a little 2-hour nap to celebrate.)

Ballcoach, the Shispering Pines Motel is our own special holiday-themed meeting place where Carl the talking, 3-humped camel is the activities and entertainment director.
Since it's founding (and naming, by Jayish) it has develped into the coveted place to relax, enjoy great food & entertainment and celebrate the holiday seasons (especially Christmas of course).
It was there that Maureen and RadioJohn jointly created the delicious Maradio Sugar Cookies that are now so popular.
And before that, Fired Twinkies were developed by slightly modifying the recipe for fried twinkies, so popular at State Fairs and carnivals.
Also, it is at the Shispering Pines that Carl works on his - um - somewhat questionable coffee experiments, ususally involving some fruit blend that no one but he and Binger will drink.
Where is it located? Well, anywhere you want it to be.
But some folks like a visual, so here it is.
Please drop by any time, say "hey" (better make that "hay") to Carl and relax on the rear deck with a tall cool one of sweet tea.

:cry: Spring has sprung and I've been out and about a bit taking photos, no tulips or new leaves on the trees yet, but it's starting to warm up now so it won't be long.
Saw a child yesterday wearing a camel and a maple leaf on her shirt. I asked, "that's cute, where did you find that Canadian Camel shirt?" Made me think of Carl the camel right away.

It is another beautiful day here today. I am going to get out and enjoy it before it gets too hot. It is suppose to be 88 degrees here today. Summer is quickly coming.
