I am new to the forums, and I love this thread.
It seems to me like Christmas was just a few weeks ago...time is really flying. My wife and I are expecting a baby in Aug, and I am looking forward to that. Soon after, it will be fall and time to get ready for Christmas again!

Thanks for this thread, and thanks especially for the countdown to the season. The season is definitley my favorite part. Listening to christmas music by the glow of the christmas tree on a cold winter night, cozy next to a fireplace and dreaming of christmas past and present...what is better than that?

I'll be counting down with you.

that´s great Medipaul....always nice to see new posters jumping right in the discussions....I´m sure You gon like this place as much as I do.....just check my posts and when I became a member here.......it seems like I do not have a life besides this page....lol...but it always brings a smile to my face and usually brings my mood back to good when something not so great has happened

I know that feeling Track...I used to check all kinds of sites everyday....your typical ballcoach kinda sites....espn, foxsports.com, nascar.com, usatoday, etc etc......but since I have found this....that's it....be careful Medipaul...it's almost like an addication.....lol....but it's a good one!

Hot, hot, hot......humid.....rain must be coming. Our farmers are really unhappy as most of their crops aren't in yet. Going to be a late year for them. Hope the rain holds off in Oct and early Nov.

Welcome to the site and congratulations on the baby! Fall may seem to take a little longer to get here this year for you since you will be awake for about 23.9 hours a day for the first few months. But, you should be sleeping again by Christmas! cheesy

So, we are down into the 100's of days left until Christmas?!?! YAHOOOOOO!!!!!

Our temps here have been great - warm, but not TOO warm or humid. Last week it got pretty chilly though - down into the high 40's at night! That's a little too chilly for June!!! I am lovin this weather!!

Medipaul....when I first joined, I loved to go back and read the previous year...it's really good reading. Try reading November and December posts in Christmas Countdown from previous years. Very good stuff!

it is 7am here in Ontario. Supposed to go up to 21c today, but they promised that yesterday and it was chilly and wet.
We are hopeful we will get summer some time this year.

Good Morning Friends, Old and New.

A very overcast one this morning here in Raleigh at this hour after a heavy rain last night. Some areas in adjoining counties had severe thunderstorm warnings out but we only had a few lightning strokes near here.
Less than a 30% chance of precip today (for graduation day!) but then the chances rapidly increase again for the rest of the week.
We stand at 68, currently.
