Bradmac- Have a good vacation


Well I spent the morning at my sisters putting on a new garbage disposal for her. The hardest part was trying to keep my one year old niece out of everything while I was working. Now that I am home I have to clean the kitchen and figure out what is for dinner. I may make some cookies later if I get that third burst of energy. Hope everyone has a Great Day!!!!

Hello! Hope everyone is having a great day!! It's gorgeous out here right now and I'm in the house - researching and browsing in the basement - but the windows are wide open. Since I now have the house to myself, the surround sound will be turned up and Chickenfoot will be put in the CD player

christmas is on my mind alot lately... it usually doesn't hit me til the end august. the older i get the quicker the feeling comes!

There's something in the air here at My Merry Christmas. It must be catching, because I've been feeling a lot of the Christmas spirit lately — like all the pieces of a puzzle are slowly being assembled, and I'm starting to see the picture.

Love the pic! I too have been in a very christmasy mood,my kids have caught the bug also.Douglas is walking around the house singing "Jingle Bells" & "Santa Claus is comming to town". I can't wait.

Overcast here in Raleigh where we stand at 74 degrees.
Rain a possiblilty but then it should be clear to the weekend.
(I like somewhat overcast skies without the rain - less glare and eyestrain. Great for driving!)

bit of a boring day today, had to make a trip to the library, now i've got to clean up, house is a mess!

i have vowed to do alot of baking in the run up to christmas this year, lots of cakes and cookies. i also want to make some mulled wine and try and find a shop that stocks egg nog here in the uk!

WOOHOO I have crossed the 1,000 post mark!!!!


I spent the morning shopping and While I was out I decided I couldn't wait any longer and went to hobby lobby. It filled me with happiness to walk in and see rows of christmas stuff out. I looked through there craft stuff to come up with some ideas and then headed over to the ornaments. They have some of the cutiest ornaments out and I think I could have easily spent my entire pay check. I then reminded my self that I bought 75 new ornaments after christmas last year. They have all kinds of santas doing everything though and I will probally still go buy a few when they run them on sale. I did find a good clearance deal on pillow books for my nieces so I picked up a couple to put back as part of there christmas. Thats about all that is going on here today. I'm back from the meetings....THANK GOD!!! What a long and sleepy day it was today....I can't stand sitting and listening to someone talk all day!! I'm so glad to be back to my dogs and wife...although not in that order...lol...just going to sit here and enjoy a nice cup of coffee then watch a movie with the wife....AHHHHHH....life is good....see yall tonight
