Happy 100 Day til Christmas! The wife threw us a party to celebrate reaching the mark....she always pokes fun at me (good natured) because I'm on here so much (she wishes she would have found it), but she's a nut just like me. We had alot of fun eating pizza and watcing National Lampoon CMas Vacation. Good times!

Uneventful day here today...which is a good thing. There never is two uneventful day in a row though....so we'll see.....I'm going to read the rest of the board, but I'll be back later!

It's been quite cool here in FTW TX. My pumpkin cookies just hit the stores this week. I am so in the holiday mood now!

Good morning all!

Sitting here enjoying a hot mug of Belgian Chocolate rooibos tea...ummm so good.

Still busy cleaning and packing, packing and cleaning. The end of the month is coming way to quick!!

Good Morning, My Double-Digit Friends!

Yes, Folks. We are now down to DOUBLE-DIGITS to Christmas, when things start to really move fast:
Days to the Season: 57
Days to Christmas Day:99
Wow! My finger are all worn out from changing 3 digits on the Christmas count. (Guess I just need more sleep)

Overcast this morning here in Raleigh, where more rain is expected.
We stand at just under 70 degrees, currently.

Another travel alert.
I am taking my father down to Florida to visit my uncle and will need a countdown volunteer (or volunteers) to post the count from this coming Saturday morning through Wednesday morning (5 mornings). Any takers?
(It's an easier job now that we are down to double-digits, you know.)

Have a Thrilling Thursday, Everyone.
(Gee. Friday Eve again already! Where does the time go??)

YeeHaw! 99 days to go! cheesy

My counter says 98 days. Well, 98 days and 14 hours and 25 minutes... Is that rounded up to 99, or is my counter wrong?

Well, either way. Yay for double digits!!! cheesy

Thanks for the reminder, Brent (not that I had forgotten!)
What usually prompts the thread placement is the opening of "A Christmas To Remember" shop at our Crabtree Valley Mall.
Haven't see it there yet but it should arrive some time soon!

I figured as much. In this case, I am excited for it to appear! If only there were a similar store here in Ottawa. Maybe I will come across something when I travel into the U.S. within the next couple months.

Good morning, everyone!

It feels so good to see the countdown into double digits. 99! In celebration of yesterday's milestone, we decided to watch a Christmas movie. However, we did not want to spoil our favourites of A Muppet's Christmas Carol, Elf or even The Grinch. Therefore, it was decided that we would watch one of our favourite Christmas plot films, Trapped In Paradise. My girlfriend and I absolutely love this movie. Nicholas Cage is great in it and Jon Lovitz and Dana Carvey are hilarious! Carvey is definitely the show steal, however. He plays his part so well. These three have fantastic chemistry together too. It's not entirely popular, but I am sure some of you have seen it..

Unfortunately, we both fell asleep about a half hour into the film due to exhaustion. My two hours at the gym took a lot out of me! Still, it was an eventful day. Maybe we'll finish the movie tonight. It was quite chilly this morning. About 48F when I departed for work, at least the sun was out though. Fall is certainly in the air in Ottawa. You can smell the cold taking over the air. It's beautiful! We are supposed to hit 68F this afternoon. Seems as if the hot days are a thing of the past.

Anyway, I am glad to see that the post count really picked up yesterday. Everyone was just as excited as I was for the milestone. I can't wait for the next one as we get closer and closer to our favourite Season. Have a great 99th day until Christmas everyone!

Down to double digits! WOO HOOO!!!
My friend Missy & I have been walking in the mornings at 6 am.... It was 45º this morning! :cold: I loved it - was an invigorating walk!!! Also, the cuddle duds I ordered were delivered yesterday - just in time!!! Ha ha! (ok, it's not THAT cold YET!)

Make it a great day Christmas friends!!!!
