Christmas Countdown - 2009

Good morning! It was below 40F when I woke up. The temp is just starting to creep past that right now at 39F. This is one of those days that I just didn't want to get out of bed. I was all wrapped up and warm and the thought of having to get stuff done today was making me blue.

I was like that yesterday. It was nice and cool and I was quite comfortable in bed and didn't want to get up and go work. I had to ake myself though because I wanted to get some work done before my boss came over this morning.

Good morning all. Just found out that our house appraisal came in where we needed it to so it looks like we be starting work on house in a couple weeks. It should all be done by the beginning of December.....

My boss came to work with me this morning and said that I was doing a great job. I guess that means I get to keep my job at least through the end of the year. I have been helping my baby brother and his wife move into a new house this weekend. Is it wrong that I immediatly looked at there house and started telling them how I would decorate it for Christmas? LOL

No, it's not wrong! I did the same thing when my sister moved into her new house.

My boss came to work with me this morning and said that I was doing a great job. I guess that means I get to keep my job at least through the end of the year.

Brad....make no mistake about it, friend....I run a very tight ship and I am the captain of it....anyone who bucks my call goes overboard (but don't tell my wife, please)...

I hope everyone know how much I appreciate being part of this board. At the end of a long day, I love to come here and shake all the cobwebs out and be reminded of what is really important in life. does me good to come here and unwind before heading home. I try really hard not to take my work home and this helps me do that! From the bottom of my heart, thanks!

Ahhh...it is so nice to be home after a long day at work! My hubby isn't feeling well, so I just sent him off to bed early and now it is just me and my sweet little girl. I'm getting ready to watch the Biggest Loser and then get a few things done for work before bed.

We had a cold, rainy morning. Just pretty yucky out overall. The afternoon turned out pretty well, though. I really enjoy this time of year so much! It is so nice to have on a cozy sweatshirt, but drive with the window down to still feel a bit of the chill. The leaves are really starting to change colors now and there was just a nice smell of fall in the air. Love it!

I had to change the dates to my trip to Branson in November slightly. Now I am kind of bummed about the kick-off to the start of the season on Nov. 13. Instead of being able to spend that whole day in Branson at the Christmas festival, it is now my last day of vacation and I'll be heading home. Boo! But I'll still get plenty of Christmas celebrating in and that is all that matters! 31 days until I leave on vacation!

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends! It's hump-day!

Still overcast down here in south GA, but still fairly cool, too.

When I got home from work yesterday, I noticed our beagle was nowhere to be found. He still wasn't around this morning, and the kids are starting to get upset. I hope he's home when I get there today!

I went to Hobby Lobby yesterday and I had my first "oh my god christmas is here" feeling. They have like 14 aisles of Christmas goodies. I was blown away as it was my first time in there. I had to go and buy some staples for hanging lights that we will use for halloween decorations when the weather turns nice again. They have a 40% off Christmas decor sale right now so I'm thinking of going and spending some more money before Saturday. After supper last night I pulled out a huge box of christmas lights and me and the wife checked them all while we watched a Christmas Carol. Good day yesterday. Hope everyone has a great day.

Hi everyone! It's finally Wednesday.

Johnor - I will be looking at the pictures soon. I look forward to seeing them.

Unchosen - We have a hobby shop outside of Pittsburgh. I wonder if that's a Hobby Lobby. I'm going to have to check it out.

It's a blustery day here and I'm loving it! The leaves are flying past my window and the wind is howling. It's like the air is screaming, "It's FALL!!!!!" I've been so busy for the past sevral days and all of a sudden, I don't have much to do today. I don't know what to do with myself. I might have to start crafting!! The business will pick up again tomorrow, so I'm enjoying this while I can.

Good windy hump day morning Christmas friends!!! Had to bundle up for our walk this morning...BRRRR!!! It was 48º but felt much cooler w/ that wind!

Bradmac - I hope your dog is home when you get there today! Poor baby!! That's an awful feeling!!!

I watched biggest loser last night too. It was so cozy at home w/ the fall decoration lights on, fall scented candles burning...I can stll smell it now! Mmmmm...
