Good Evening!! Not a bad day here. Did a little grocery shopping earlier. Got what I needed to start my baking soon. About 24 out right now. Not a heat wave by all means but close considering the temps. we have had for awhile lately. We are in a storm watch effect from late Saturday night through Monday afternoon. Jeff I hope you and your family enjoyed your concert this evening. Trackrebel I hope you get some rest this evening. Have a good night everyone!

Daughter and I went to the parade this evening. It was nice...small as usual thou. I stayed in the car with the heat on. With the wind it was chilly. But my daughter and niece who met up with us stood out for the candy....little die hards they are. After the parade they had fireworks. I'm bummed because we left early to get a good parking spot...I ran to get a candy cane cappuccino before it all began and forgot my darn camera!!! Oh well next year I suppose....

COLD HERE in SE VA.. in the low 30s..and it was just 75 on Wednesday! Snow furries tomorrow night.. good for coffee..

Well I am off to work for a couple of hours today. I am going to try to get some of my new accounts that are out of town done. I am heading for the small towns that are far away from the malls and shopping centers. This afternoon I am planning on making some more candy. I haven't decided what to make yet. It will depend on what time I get home and how tired I am. I went to my towns christmas party last night and was disappointed. They usually have a parade with the fire trucks all decked out with christmas lights and some of the city trucks. Then there are some business that usually do some floats. They canceled the parade this year though. They had carolers singing and santa was at the courthouse for the the kids. They also had a living nativity and had wrapped all of the light posts and trees downtown with lights. It was still a good time but not as fun without the parade. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my godchild has finally lost her first tooth 10minutes ago....at the age of seven...she´s been waiting eagerly....I wonder when Kandice will lose her first one

.....we're headed to downtown Salt Lake City for the Christmas Concert by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square, this year with Natalie Cole and David McCullough. The music is fabulous -- absolutely world class.....
I would love to hear them, Jeff! Have a collection of some of their Christmas music - and it IS world class!
BTW, have you heard whether or not the concert will be broadcast on TV this year? I know in years past, it has been shown on PBS but I can't find anything about it this year.

CHRISTMAS SEASON DAY # 30

Wow!
After today, we will have completed a full month of our fantastic Christmas Season 2009. So hard to believe!

Days to Christmas Day: 13
.....and so we pass under 2 weeks to the Big Day.
(Also hard to believe!)

Well, the last of the Christmas gifts I ordered arrived to join the ones I already picked up in shopping.
After leaving here, I will have a marathon wrapping/Christmas card issuance session, all to the accompaniment of my various Christmas music collections.
(It doesn't get any better than that!)

Have a Stupendous Saturday, Everybody!
I hope your next-to-the-last Weekend before Christmas is off to a Wonderous start.

Wow Crown, a month already.....shocking! But it sure has been a blast!

Going to be a good day....finish shopping online....do some extra decorating...wrap some gifts...then off to my wife's extended family gathering tonight! Should be alot of fun!

Been a busy, busy week and I'm glad it's over! Hope you all have a great weekend and I look forward to seeing all of you here today!

Merry Christmas, MMC!

I hope your next-to-the-last Weekend before Christmas is off to a Wonderous start.

Where's the time going???

I haven't watched nearly enough Christmas shows yet! Have not listened to nearly enough Christmas music!

Between my 'real' job, and working in radio on the side, it has been an amazingly busy past three weeks. But after tonight things start to slow down. I purposely tried to schedule as light of a week as possible next week. Only one after-school meeting. Then Friday at 3:00, it's vacation time until January 4th :)

Enjoy the weekend!

The sun is out again!

The storm is over and now all is a beautiful white for Christmas!

I am off to the mall in a little while. This being the next to last weekend before Christmas, I had better get things done!

Here is my cat Pocket to say a cheery hello and merry Christmas to all!
(doesn't she look impressed to be wearing that hat?)
