Godd Sunday morning, my Christmas friends!

I cant stay, getting ready for church. I just wanted to pop in and say "hey!" and "Meerry Christmas!"cheesy

What's next year's goal? 10,000??? Has Crown said yet?
With the incredible explosion of our countdown thread this year, I would say just bettering it would be quite an accomplishment!!

CHRISTMAS SEASON DAY # 31

Days to Christmas Day: 12

Good Grief!
Just look how close we are now to SINGLE DIGITS!
Doesn't that have both a magical and scary ring to it??
(Magical if you are eagerly awaiting Christmas morning; Scary if you are way behind on your gift shopping and holiday plans!)

Cold here again, where we stand at just under 40 degrees.
With last night's rain still on the ground, there is a damp feel to the atmosphere. More rain possible today.

Have a Super Sunday, Friends!
[After today, there is only ONE more weekend left until Christmas!!]

Good morning guys! Rainy here....but that's ok because it leads to being lazy....although with so much to do I might not need to be to lazy....this morning is going to be office work for a couple of hours and then I am going to begin doing some cooking...can't wait! Football, cooking, so much fun!

Gotta go...better get busy!

:hello: I'm reallllly looking forward to lighting the annual luminaries on Christmas Eve with my dad. Hope I can get some pictures to share in the Blossoms thread.

I stopped by several members profile pages to extend special holiday wishes, in case I missed you or you have profile messages turned off, here you go ...

HoHoHello & Merry Christmas to you from Auntie Mistletoe and O’Malley the cat too!

Hope Santa is extra good to you.

:snowball: Lots of snow around here.

Waiting for some sunshine to snap some photos to share.

:)) Feeling a bit more caught up with the shopping preparations. Will be completely finished next weekend so the last week can be "panic free".

Hey All!
Gonna have a cake, open gifts and bring Douglas out to eat for his birthday.Man time flies by so quick.
We are thinking of getting a tree today, kids like the fake one.but I really miss havin a real tree. :) Have a great day!

I hope this finds everyone having a great weekend!!

It's raining! After 2 days of snow that closed a bunch of stuff, and a day of glorious sunshine, it is now raining!!!:-?
I sure hope it stops before all the snow melts.

Good day! A cold one here...Zero degrees out! We got snow like the weatherman said we would. About a few inches. Other than that it's been a lazy day in this household. Hope you all had a great weekend. 11 more days to go!!

It has been such a fabulously Christmasy weekend, I just have to share.

First of all, we finally got some decent snow here this week and the Christmas lights look spectacular.

Second, the Christmas Card Exchange this year has just been a lifesaver -- so many good friends I've met through the site and their heartfelt wishes for the season have come to mean so much to me. I hope in years to come we get more folks who participate here in the countdown to join us on the exchange. It is what Christmas is all about, much as the conversation here.

And third, we attended a fabulous concert this week with Natalie Cole and David McCullough joining the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and the Orchesstra at Temple Square. It will be on PBS next Christmas (last year's will be shown on PBS this next week, it was great as well). I cannot tell you how powerful such music and storytelling is in the vital celebration of the season. I am profoundly blessed to live where I do to partake in free events like this of such mastery.

An added bonus was that we got a chance to meet both Natalie Cole and David McCullough (who is a rock star in my house) -- which was a special thrill indeed. Here are some photos:

The card exchange had become a favorite of mine this time of the year too. I love getting all those cards in the mail and the little surprises that come with some of them! Coming here to share the fun of counting down, sharing the joy of the season with like minded people.
Thanks everyone for adding sparkle to the Christmas celebrations!!
:sparkle:

Good Morning everyone. It is hard to belive that we are only 11 days away. I never got a chance to stop by yesterday because I was in the kitchen all day. I got my buckeyes, peppermint patties, creme filled chocolates, divinty, meltaways, and molded chocolates all made. That leaves me with 13 things on my list still to make. I may not get to all of them. I still have 33 stores to work this week so that is going to take up the next four days. Today I am headed to southern Indiana to call on a couple of stores. Getting these new stores has thrown off my entire plan. I made quick work of my regular stores before thanksgiving so I could take all of december off to enjoy everything and get my baking done but now I am having to work when I had planned to do all of my baking. I guess I shouldn't be complaining because it is going to give me more money to spend the day after christmas on new decorations. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CHRISTMAS SEASON DAY # 32

Good Morning, good old Building & Loan Pals 'O Mine!
We begin another week - the LAST full week before Christmas!

Days to Christmas Day: 11
Wow!
So close to 10! So close to SINGLE DIGITS!!

Only one degree warmer here in Raleigh than it was yesterday at this time.
We stand at 41 under cloudy/foggy conditions.
The chance of rain is reduced but is still possible for today and tomorrow.

Hey! My gifts are all wrapped! My cards are all mailed! I have now run through all of my Christmas music albums (and have started over again)! I have watched 13 of the 16 Christmas shows in my DVD collection!

Saw Christmas at the White House on TV last night.
Some decorations were shown but most of it was an Oparah interview with the Obamas.
Liked it much better when it was on HGTV and they focused on Christmas!

Have a Marvelous Monday, Folks.

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

Another rainy day, but wo cares...Christmas is next week! We've been out doing more shopping, and still have more to do. Hopefully we can finish up quickly so we can enjoy the remaining season.

I hope you all have a great day! cheesy

Good morning everyone. It's only been a few day since I was last on here but it feels so much longer then that. Had another very busy weekend. My mother in law who is in town for the month stayed with us over the weekend. The kids were thrilled. Did some baking, shopping and wrapping.
Will be working on getting the whole house cleaned this week so I can spend the upcoming weekend baking during during the day and watching Christmas movies during the evenings. Can not believe Christmas will be here next week. Is it possible that the time just flew by that quickly?

Kids are going with hubbys mom and sister tonight so we can wrap the kids gifts....

Hope everyone has a great day.

kandice is asleep now...got a little cold...nothing serious tho.....I only got four days to work...now the countdown is on.........a lil more than a week til christmas...wow...I just love it
