Good evening, everyone!!

I thought I would be posting a lot more since I returned home for Christmas. Apparently, it has been the exact opposite. I apologize. I'm doing my best to help us get to 8,000. It's so close!!! I had a fantastic weekend. My dad and I went to camp with my brother's fiance's dogs (yes, that's tough to say). They mostly loved getting out. Unfortunately, one found it real cold after a while and wanted to go. It was a good time and I'm glad that I could help my dad set up his tractor shelter. I will post some pictures. The snow looks beautiful and it really is a white Christmas here in the Sault. More snow fell today, too!

Much like Binger, I still have to send out my cards. I have everything done except for the stamps. There will be 18 lucky MMC members on the receiving end of mine. I apologize for there only being 18. There were so many I wanted to send them to. I hope they arrive before Christmas... or at least New Years!!

Time to upload those pictures. I'll post them in a bit!

It appears that I forgot to take a picture of the actual camp/cottage.

Here is the north shore of Lake Huron, already starting to freeze:

Hey All!!! A whopping 0 degrees outside right now. I plan to officially start my baking tomorrow. Hope you all had a good day!

guess what... ITS SNOWING!!!! It has been snowing here since about 3ish...it is beautiful!! there is a snow warning here tonight..which is alright by me hahahacheesy

to also add to the christmas spirit in my home today...my father and I our watching Christmas Vacation on the television!!!!cheesy
there are TONS of christmas shows on tonight, & tons of christmas related shows.

:hello: I'm wathching a few short Christmas specials.

Is it wrong to laugh at Mr. Bean in his Christmas special? I giggle through most of it.

I think it's safe to say I could act out the Grinch by now. cheesy

It's strange because I have the Grinch on video and yet at Christmas I sit through the commercials for old time's sake. (For you youngins that means in the days when you couldn't change the channel so easily.)

:treeguy: A friend of mine said her six year old daughter seems a bit greedy with her wish list this year so she's signed the family up to wrap gifts for the less fortunate and is considering delivering on Christmas Eve as well.

Can you believe how close we are? I can almost taste those Clementine Oranges Santa will surely leave in my stocking.

OK.....so here's a question for yall....what's the night before Christmas Eve like...is there a realtime get together or is there on Christmas Eve?

9 days till Christmas. I can´t believe how fast the time goes by.

I can't believe that's all there is until Christmas, it is indeed flying by!

Yesterday I finished buying the christmas presents for my husband, I now have only two presents left to buy for some friends and then I'm finished, a little more last-minute than I had intended but hopefully I'll have them both bought by friday :) Today I shall be writing out a list of the foods we need to buy in for christmas - the big christmas food shopping session is something I really look forward to so am very excited that we shall be doing this this weekend! :) Does anyone else really enjoy buying in the food/ingredients for christmas or does the busyness of the supermarkets put you off?

Hope everyone has a great day! cheesy

Christmas Vacation is one of our family's favourites, we watch it every year! My mom has several cats (6 in total) and my dad's not too much of a cat person so you can imagine which bit of the film is his favourite! ;-)

Wow only 10 days left to go. I worked late last night trying to get my accounts done. If I can get as many done today as yesterday I will be able to take tomorrow off and then finish on thursday morning. I also have to babysit my nieces on thursday afternoon. The weather was great yesterday. We got into the 50's and it was partly sunny. Today the high is going to be 30 and we are going to get alot of wind again. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning everyone!!
We have another snow storm on the way, due to hit our area this afternoon. (up to 15cm of snow)

Have a few things to do around the house yet before our big family Christmas party on Saturday. House is all decorated, cheese cake baked, just have to decide what to cook for dinner now. (pot luck, so everyone is bringing something) Still have to make the eggnog which has to be done a couple of days ahead. Also got a cake order for Friday, so have to get that done too.

I love this time of the year!!!

Coach- Only 62 more days until daytona!!!!!

CHRISTMAS SEASON DAY # 33

Days to Christmas Day: 10
(And you know that THAT means -- SINGLE DIGITS tomorrow!!)

Decorating.. check...
cards... almost check..
shopping.. done in July... check..
coffee.. for sure.....
Shouldn't that be coffee...checkmate?
(Or would that be Coffee Mate?)

Good Morning, Friends.

Wow! Just Wow!
Tomorrow - single digits to Christmas Day.
The year has really flown.
(And believe me those last 10 days will REALLY fly! Better get all of your plans finalized ASAP!)

A bit warmer today, where we stand at 50.
No rain predicted but it's still very soggy from yesterday's rain.

Nice photos, Brent.
The first one looks positively Arctic!

Well, have a Terrific Tuesday, Everyone!

Wow, Crown, you're not too far from me, but it's 75° here. At least it stopped raining for a little while.

Hope you all have a great day! cheesy

Good morning everyone !

It warmed up here and just about all the snow is gone. I sure hope we get more before Christmas.

I'm running a little behind this year on everything. The lights are almost up, the decorations inside are 50% done. Cards are . . . . . . well . . . . . . I'm still working on that. I'm not doing too well on the "Binger checklist". Wait a minute now, be for you all start on me, I have a few excuses. (Not all good ones, but at least I have them.) The best ones are the number of packages I've been sending over-seas. It seems the whole family thinks I'm the post office, and keep dropping things off to be shipped out to my son in Afghanistan.

I know a lot of you don't know me too well, but some of the people from the old Christmas.com days know I've been around for quite a while. I'm not sure if this is the place to do this, but I'll ask anyway. If any of you have sent out your Christmas cards, and you noticed that you have one left over, and you really hate to just toss it out, I have a request. There is this Marine I know. He is serving as we speak. He and his wife just had their 1st baby (A boy on 13Dec09). Because of where he is and what he is doing, he is not allowed to come home on leave. He will not see his new son (in person) until May or June. I'm not asking for anyone to run out and buy a special card, or anything, just if you have an extra card left over.

His Address is:

Cpl. Matthew T Lynn
HMLA 367 Fire Control
Unit 42065
FPO AP 96427-2065

Regular postage.

If you decide to send a card, please congratulate him on his new parenthood, and say Hi from the Iron Eagle. And please keep him and all who serve in your prayers.

All of us at the Eagles nest Thank You !
