Christmas Countdown - 2010

Yesterday was a great day! I had my grandchildren over while my daughter was in school. We had lots of fun. We started off with green eggs for breakfast, which they LOVED! Then made some St. Patrick's Day projects. Then my son and I made my grandsons garages for their cars with empty boxes. We made it 3 story's with ramps. They thought that was cool. My granddaughter is only 7 months old so too young for homemade toys.
My daughter came home from school with awards for perfect attendance, deans list and straight A's. She starts her externship next week.

Not much to do today. I need to run to the store later to get some bread but I might put that off until tomorrow when my sister comes in to visit mom. Mom is starting to feel better. She is starting to cut back on the pain pills so she can stay awake longer and not just sleep all day. She is still pretty unsteady while trying to use the walker so I don't know if I want to leave her home alone just yet. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Afternoon Everybody!!! This has been a crazy week. My daughter had been sick for a few days but she is better now. Started off with a stomach bug and then ended up with a head cold. Poor Girl!!! But at leaset she is feeling a lot better and wentback to school today.

Had a good softball practice lastnight. Got 12 girls on the team and 5 have never played before but after what we saw lastnight I do not think we will have a problem with them.

Weather is going to be very nice over the next several days. Need to take advantage of it and do some yard work...

I have been enjoying Spring Break. I've been shopping, done some work around the house, babysat, and had Mother/son day. I really needed this short break. I have missed my little Pre-K babies. I can't wait to hear about their week.

It has been a lazy day here for me. I made a cake this afternoon and that is about it. There isn't really I want to see on tv tonight so I will probally sit out on my porch with my neighor for awhile.

What a night. William is sick still and he was throwing up several times last night. He didn't sleep through the night at all. My Wife is staying home today to take care of him while I go to work. Man we are tired! Hopefully I get off work early today, that would be nice. Tomorrow family is coming down for Williams 1st birthday so I hope that goes ok. I was listening to some Christmas music the other night too hehe. Have a good friday everyone!

Yes, Sir. Only ONE WEEK until the 1/4 mark to Christmas Day.
An entire quarter nearly gone in our journey back to Christmas.
Amazing!

Chilly here, but not for long. We should reach the low 70's by this afternoon, then mid 70's for Saturday and Sunday with no precip. Can't beat that!
It is 43 here in Raleigh at this hour under sunny and calm skies.

Good Morning all!

Typical Texas weather here. It has been sunny and warm the past few days. We might get some snow tomorrow evening.

My mother, grandchildren, son, nephew and I signed up for a year membership again for the Children's Museum. We had a lot of fun and the kids look at it as a giant playground but it's 100% educational. It was a very busy day yesterday. Hoping for a little rest today.

Tomorrow my husband and I plan to see Rain, a Beatles Tribute Band at the Music Hall.
