Coach- Larry Pearson has a Compound fracture of lower left ankle (requires surgery). A Fractured pelvis and a fractured right hand. That is bad but it looked like it was going to be a whole lot worse. It will be interesting to see if they have the legends race again next year. It is fun to watch all of the older guys out there racing but they didn't get alot of practice in the cars before they started racing them and they were going the same speed as the nationwide cars.

Beautifully calm and sunny outside here in Raleigh at this hour where my back door thermometer reads 54.
We are supposed to reach 72 this afternoon after a great 78 yesterday.
However, rain is supposed to move in tonight and continue all day tomorrow.
Oh, well. At least we had the entire weekend!

First, let me tell my good friend Made that I appreciate his noticing my ... and reminding me of my New Year's "Promise to Myself". Wow, not only did I fall off the wagon, but I fell off and bounced a few times! Didn't get to see the legends race friend, but I heard about it. I wondered the same thing (if they will continue to race). Yesterday's race was exciting and I can't wait for today's!

Worked in the yard all day yesterday and had so much fun. It was so nice to be outside in the 70 degree weather. Man, it was great. However, last night rained moved in and they are calling for snow flurries tonight with the low getting to 35. WHAT!?!?!

It is a dreary day here in central indy. The rain is starting to move in and the temp is now at 41 and it is supposed to fall throughout the day. We might get some snow flurries overnight but no acculamtion. I am hoping that is true because I really don't want to be pushing mom in her wheelchair through the snow tomorrow to take her to the doctor. Not much on the agenda for today. I just got home from church and now I am going to kick back and watch nascar coverage. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It appears that I missed the first day of Spring, but I couldn't not come here for Spring Equinox! Today is going to be a busy day. My body is tired from too many sports in the past few days, so I am glad I have one more day to rest until practice tomorrow. However, I need to finish an essay today. It should not be that difficult and the only distraction may be the Bruins hockey game, but otherwise I think I will be OK.
As I write this, the birds are chirping loudly outside my window. Spring is certainly here! We're supposed to receive some snow today, but no real accumulation is expected. Time to start doing some work!

3000-plus posts! What an accomplishment! It should be noted that the 3000th post of 2009 came much later in the year. In fact, it was more than three months later! Ballcoach ushered in the 3000 mark on June 24th at 11:47 PM in 2009. We're way ahead of the pace. Records are being smashed!! Congratulations on getting it this year, Star!

Partly cloudy out this morning, with a little wind and the temp. being about 47 right now. Weatherman says 67 for the high today...time will tell I suppose. Got breakfast out of the way, two loads of laundry done, vacuuming done and my bed is made. Thought I'd check in and see how everyone is doing. Still down with my cold, plan to take the rest of the day to relax. I need to be well by tomorrow for a big job I have going on. Enjoy your Sunday friends!!!!

Good morning everyone! Yesterday was 70 degrees and I turned over the first dirt in my soon-to-be garden. Tonight it's supposed to rain with maybe some snow mixed in. Oh, well....HAPPY SPRING to all!!!
