Christmas Countdown - 2010

Wow, 3 weeks until 200 days!!!! Ahhh, so so exciting!

It's a chilly day here in PA.. .rainy and dreary. I'm really craving some serious Thanksgiving food... I bought some cornbread stuffing mix from Trader Joe's the other day and I can't wait to make it! And maybe some mashed potatoes and broccoli casserole.. mmm, mmm, mmm! I prefer making homemade stuffing but I'll take boxed when I'm really dying for it!!!

I wish we had a Trader Joe's here. I seen that store on the Food Network, it looks like my kind of store.

You would love it!!! So many veggie options and lots of tasty, healthy stuff... if you write to them, sometimes they will open a store nearby! My family and friends wrote a bunch of times about a store in my hometown and we got one about a year lateR!! I've heard they are pretty receptive to customer feedback.

Sounds yummy!!!!!!! I made a small thanksgiving meal 2 weeks ago and just to warn you, it will really put you in the mood for the holidays!!!!!!!cheesy

It's another rainy morning here. I need to get some paperwork done for work and then hopefully it will have stopped raining and I can get my tomato and green pepper plants planted. I am also thinking about making some cookies. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

My little brother called me yesterday afternoon at 6:30 pm saying he was having car trouble out of town and needed me to come pick him up. I told him I would, just tell me where he is. Cartersville. OMG. Cartersville is 5 hours away and I can't leave till 7 pm at the earliest. Then he says he might be able to fix it, and that I should wait till he calls me back. at 9:30 pm he says he thinks he fixed it, and that he's going to stay the night there and try to make it home Tuesday. Thank you, Lord!

I just spoke to him, and he's halfway home with no troubles. Wow, that was a close one!

I hope you all have a great (and uneventful) Tuesday! cheesy

I am glad to hear that he got it fixed and that you didn't have to spend all night on the road!!!!!!!!

Good morning, everyone!!

It looks to be another beautiful day here in Ottawa. We are currently at 17C (66F) and are looking for highs into the mid 20s/70s. Not bad!! Yesterday was beautiful all around. Very little wind and plenty of sunshine.

Only three more weeks until our next milestone? That is a little far off, but at least there are a few milestones that follow it quite closely. 200 days will be quite the accomplishment!!

Brad, I bet you're happy that you did not have to make that drive. Five hours? I don't think I could do that either. Good luck to your brother on his return home!

I'd like to say that all this Thanksgiving talk is making me hungry, but I'm still full from breakfast. I guess I had too much cereal. That is certainly not to say I do not look forward to a beautiful Thanksgiving-like meal. I miss that deliciousness. Soon enough.

Have a great Tuesday, everyone!! The downside of the work week is just over 24 hours away.

Thanks, I will do that! I am surprised we don't already have one since I live in a big city. I hear the prices are good too. We have Whole Foods here, which I go to often, but it's kind of pricey. No way I could do all my grocery shopping there!

Good afternoon!

It is warm, but cloudy out today. Tomorrow is supposed to be near 80 and I plan on doing some thrifting. I need to go to the library and pick up the books I ordered - I love that my local library will order just about anything I want as long as it is in MelCat - saves a lot of travel.
I changed my browser to Firefox and so far I haven't been having all the problems I had with IE. I can actually log in here and stay logged in :dance:

Dinner is over and I made some peanut butter chip cookies to snack on. Now I am getting ready to kick back and watch Idol and then Deadliest catch. I hope everyone is having a good day!!!!!
