I think quite a few of us have caught the bug (maybe a little early cheesy) the past few weeks I have been listening to Christmas music almost daily and buying quite a few gifts!

Happy Friday. I will be leaving work in about an hour and wont be back until Tuesday morning! Im not sure when or if I will make it on here this weekend being home with the kiddies. Have a wonderful long weekend and a Happy and safe 4th of July! Just another step closer to the Season yayay!!!!!!!!

I am done organizing my pantry and I have my list of baking stuff that I need to start stocking up on ready. Now I just need some of the stuff to go on sale so I can get started. It kind of put me in the Christmas mood so I broke into my candy cane stash and now I am sitting here drinking hot chocolate and eating a candy cane. I hope everyone is having a good afternoon!!!!

Wow it is quiet on here with everyone on vacation. It looks like I get to babysit for awhile tonight while my sister goes to the store. Should be fun since my youngest niece is cutting 3 teeth.
Hello everyone! I am excited for the 4th of July! We're having some friends over tomrrow and on the 4th. On Monday we're going to go see Toy Story 3! I can't wait. And it's official...we're getting our private tour of WGN on July 16th!

I will be watching all day saturday but will miss most of sunday. I just realized that the nascar race here in town is on the 25th. So I will be at the track most of the day on sunday.

Today is a great day!!!!!!! Dale Earnhardt JR driving a number 3 wrangler car like his dad use to drive just won the nationwide race at daytona. He was driving the number 3 car as a tribute to his dad getting inducted into the nascar hall of fame. I will admit that it brought a tear to my eye to see him win with that paint scheme at the same track where his father lost his life.

I am down to vacation eve, one more shift and I have 2 weeks off. I am tired tonight, busy night at work, and a lot of traffic on the way to work from my Dr. appt in Springfield. I am glad I live 15 miles from that crazy city. I was driving home tonight and I was imagining houses with the trees up and decorated with lights, 4 more months and it will be true.

Well the heat is returning today. We are expecting a high near 90 and lots of humidity to go along with it. I need to make macaroni salad and deviled eggs for my sisters cookout tomorrow and then it will be time to kick back and the nascar race tonight. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The day after tomorrow - SINGLE DIGITS to the 2/3 Milestone to the Season.

As I stated above, we have very comfortable humidity levels despite the fact the temps are slowly expected to climb. Mid-80's for today, then low 90's for the 4th.
We stand just over 64 here in Raleigh at this hour.
Y'all have a Sensational Saturday, y'hear.
Be getting those flags, fireworks and Sousa music ready for tomorrow!
