Just giving an update on my boy, he has had a rough night thus far, he cannot keep anything down, the Dr. feels it is an adverse effect from the pain killer they put him on, and leftover side effects from the anesthetic. Needless to say we are worried about dehydration, and we were told if he throws up in the middle of the night we are to bring him to the ER. I broke down and cried earlier because I cannot stand to see him like this. My wife is sleeping on his room on an air mattress to keep an eye/ear on him through the night.

Good morning, Christmas friends!

Well...I got close to 6.5 hours sleep last night - which is more than I normally get! I guess that means between my morning coffee and a decent sleep, I'll be more "bouncier" today! HA!

I just wish I had more time to be on MMC! Its so difficult to find the time during the work-day. Hmmmm...maybe I'll try on my lunch break.

Anyway - it is now 4:42am here, and I'm a few minutes behind my schedule. So - I've got to dash for now.

I cannot wait to "hear" about how you are all doing today!

I hope everyone is doing well. I worked a lot of hours Sat-Mon. I'm glad I have the day off today. I went to bed at 11:30 and got up at 6:30...stupid body clock! lol Not sure what I am going to do today. Some running around, just gonna take it easy.

Poor little guy! I am thinking too if I take any pain medicine on an empty stomach I throw up. I am wondering since he really can't eat it may be causing it? I am not sure on if he is eating or not or as you said he cannot keep anything down, sorry if I am giving bad advice here, I don't know the details. I know when I have had surgery they would funnel down the pain meds then I would get really sick and throw up. I would try to tell them I need food but of course I couldn't eat at the time. Once I could eat I did fine.

I really hope he is doing better and you and mom can get some sleep. I get really upset when kids don't feel well. I will say a prayer for you all.

I am having a rough day. I am still not 100% better from being sick. The grandkids are here and on a whole being good but I cannot rest and want to so bad! I could fall asleep right now. My mom is out of town so she cannot help me today. Hopefully their dad will be off work early, if not, their mom will be here in 3 hours.

I hope everyone else is having a good Monday. Mine will be great when I can go to bed! cheesy

That means I only have 137 days to finish buying all of my christmas gifts if I want to stay on schedule.

Really looking forward to finding out how your son is doing. When I had my tonsils out just a few years back I kept throwing up from the pain med also. I hope that he has kept some fluids down! Please let us know how he is doing.

I wonder what he thinks of us reaching that same post count 123 days earlier this year.

We are indeed on fire this year, Made, which is both good and bad.
It's good the thread is so popular that people want to visit and post.
But it means we will have a formidable task to better the record in 2011!

What a day I have ahead of me - I get to clean house. Had to really move things around to get the old fridge out - yes, it did die - the new fridge is smaller, but it isn't a side-by-side and now the kitchen table is in the way. I have some major moving and packing to do! At least that is something I'm good at thanks to my jobs in retail

Well I am getting ready for my Florida Vacation coming up next week. I will spending 10 days in beautiful Orlando Florida. When I return, I will officially start my Christmas Season. OMG Made582 has already counted down to Thanksgiving. I am considering hosting Thanksgiving this year. It may be a little overwhelming with that and my traditional Christmas Eve Open House I do every year. But, I will be surrounded by family and friends so I am not complaining. At least not yet anywaycheesy

Well, its good to be back among my online Christmas friends. I missed you all and look forward to spending my 2010 season online with all of you!!!

Not only is tomorrow a milestone it is going to be HSN's christmas in July. So you can celebrate the milestone by watching and admiring a few cute Christmas items.


After going back and reading some of our live chat from last year I can't wait for the night of the November 12th so we can all gather here to ring in the season together. It will be easier for me this year to keep up with my new computer and high speed internet. cheesy

Well I went out and worked again this morning for awhile and got most of the south side of indy done. I almost stopped by hallmark again but I decided to stay on task and just get my work done. It is kind of a dreary day here. There is a chance of rain but so far we haven't had any. This afternoon I need to get some paperwork ready to mail to my boss and the rest of it filed away for my records. Then I am going to kick back and get ready to watch deadliest catch tonight.
