I JUST GOT VERY EXCITING NEWS TODAY!

I have not mentioned anything on here yet because I was a little scared but my dad has suffered from Waldenstrom disease, a form of leukemia. He went into remission nearly 6 years ago. Slowly his protein count has gone up on every 6 month visit to the doctor, which is not good. He went in last week to get his blood tested. I have been a little nervous in hopes it has not gone way up, which would require chemotherapy. The results came back about an hour ago, the protein level did go up a little but not enough to require chemotherapy. They said they don't need to see him again for another 6 months! I am so happy! My mind is cleared for the upcoming holidays and more reason to celebrate!!!!!

That is great news!!!!

My goal is to finishu shopping by October 1. Yabba.

Best of luck with that goal!

He's doing OK, Bing.
Memory is slowly fading but not too bad so far.
He still enjoys walking Fox every morning!

That is great news. I'm glad he is doing ok,,,, yabba!

Crown,,, if not sooner,,,, see you here in real time in. November... I always look forward to it,,,,,? Yabba!

I had santa's stacked from floor to ceiling. So if you ever see an episode where a guy can't move in his apartment because it is full of santa's you'll know it's me.
Hoarding Santas are a good thing. I will only worry if you start hoarding real live Santas. cheesy So I guess if we see them disappearing from the malls we know where to look.

Hey Binger! Good to see you back.

I had posted this song with you in mind but it got buried deep in this thread and didn't see you on for awhile. It's worth posting again!

Morning all. Just sitting here listening to Christmas music and drinking a coffee. Nice cool 68 outside! Supposed to be cool this week! Reminds me of Fall. Oh yes, its coming and you can't stop it! Bahh I don't want to go to work today. Just want to stay home and take it easy. Oh well. I have my Candy Cane candle lit and the whole basement smells like it!! Time to go and get ready for work. Have a great day!

That is GREAT NEWS!!! And Happy B-day to your granddaughter!!! cheesy

Then I started thinking to myself what if they had christmas stuff out for sell all year long. I could see myself buying more everytime I went to the store until I came home one day and realized that there was no where to sit becuase I had santa's stacked from floor to ceiling. So if you ever see an episode where a guy can't move in his apartment because it is full of santa's you'll know it's me.

Don't worry Made, we would be here for you. Only thing is, most of us may NOT view the hoarding of Christmas stuff to be a problem. So don't be surprised if we give you support by offering decorating tips and ideas.

Good Morning everyone!

My back is much better today. It's a good thing I decided to just rest after I hurt it. If I tried to keep going I probably would have made it worse.

My granddaughter is 1 today! :))

Happy Birthday to her!

Glad to hear your back is feeling better today

Good evening all!

We have returned from our weekend excursion To Lake George, NY. It was a good weekend, got up there Saturday weather was beautiful high 70's bright and sunny, we spent the whole day outside going to the village area full of arcades and kitschy souvenir stores but we love it. Sunday it rained all day long but we stayed out and did as much as we could including walking around the village and I made sure I went to my favorite store on the whole strip A Christmas to Remember it is all lit up with Christmas trees and lights and the Christmas music was playing, my wife and kids went out to see if Frankenstein was outside the Haunted House and I stayed in the store for a few minutes listening to the music and thinking I can't wait until Christmas. We came home today but before we left we went to the outlets and were doing some school shopping for JP, and my wife and I took our eyes off LC for mere seconds and he was gone we looked all over the store and outside really quickly, our worst thoughts were going through our heads, I went outside again and walked into the parking lot and he was running in the middle of the busy parking lot, smiling along, I ran and picked him up and yelled at him. That all happened in seconds not more than 10 seconds, that was the scariest thing I have ever been through.

Have a good night all!

Very glad to hear your Son is ok...that had to be so scary!

Well I have a lot of work to get done...I just got into work about 1 ish because I had a class this morning. I had to stop in and say HI to my Christmas friends though cheesy. 3 months from today is Thanksgiving Eve (In the US). Evan ( 3 year old Son) told me this morning he had an "idea" to have Thanksgiving dinner this weekend and at our house. Normally we go to both my in laws and parents. It was so cute to hear him say that and I must say a nice idea but Im not prepared for that of course. Anyways have a nice Tuesday all. I am enjoying this 73 degree cloudy day!
