Now we are under a tornado warning. They are showing rotation south of us. Nothing right in our area and hopefully nothing will come of it! Getting all my pets prepared for shelter just in case.

Tornado warnings expired! In just that short hour we had sirens go off and they showed tornado's touching down near downtown on tv but not sure if there is any damage yet. I was running all over the house gathering up my animals and my cats were upset. It got dark all around but we are safe, just not sure about others.
They just confirmed some damage and showing some buildings torn up on tv. We get tornado warnings often but I usually don't think much of them. This is the first time in years we have heard sirens and I was taking shelter and preparing for the worse. I just hope no one was hurt.

Now that the excitement is all over I am back to relaxing. We are still under a tornado watch until around 1 am but all the scary stuff passed us for now. While I was watching our local news about the tornado's hitting they mentioned how it had just passed over former President George W. Bush home. I had forgot he only lives about 15 minutes away from me. Lol. No mention his home was hit. So far just 1 person reported with minor injuries and some damaged buildings.

I can't wait for Christmas! Okay, I can wait, but I love Christmas! I already have my list written. Early I know, but it is good to get it over with. Anyway, I still have over three months of school until I'm free for winter break. But I can wait a little while longer, but I can bet by next month I'll be counting the days!
