Its appears that Just like ChristmasHeart, I think it not to early. The good thing is that when one person in town starts putting up there's others will follow suit and that's what makes it so great.

You are right about that! That happened in some apartments I helped manage. My next door neighbors would come home after trick-or-treating on Halloween night, take down the Halloween decorations and put up the Christmas tree. Neighbors mumbled it was too early but within a week at least 20 other apartments lit up there homes with decorations including myself! cheesy

Hey All! Hope you had a great weekend. We did. William now has a Toy Story toddler bed! He needs more meds for heart burn so he isn't sleeping right now But we will be seeing the doctor soon.

I hope he feels better soon.

The house I grew up in was on a busy street and we never got any trick or treaters. So when us kids got older and stopped going out it became a tradition to go out shopping for new christmas decorations on halloween night. cheesy

I would like to try (I know this sounds crazy even for a Christmas nut) getting my tree up BEFORE Thanksgiving this year.....The time just goes too fast !!! :-?

My tree is up within the first week of November every year. I have done that for over 10 years since my neighbor back in the apartments done it. That's right, my family comes over for Thanksgiving with a fully decorated Christmas house! No one has complained and if they did, tough! cheesy My uncle actually put his tree up in October last year! I told him I was proud of him. Lol!

To me, Thanksgiving always felt like a second Christmas. It's the kick off to the Christmas holiday!

I got all of my christmas cards addressed for my family and friends today.
