I've fallen behind. Got busy yesterday and spent most of the day checking Christmas lights and taking down broken Christmas lights and such. In that process 3 of my neighbours got all of there Christmas decorations put up. I jokingly told my wife that next year we are skipping Halloween and going to straight to the Christmas decorations in mid October. I didn't sleep well last night and I think it was because we haven't gotten our lights up yet and everyone else is getting theres up. It was the first thing on my mind when I woke up today.
I'm going to try to remedy that today. Hope all have a wonderful day today.

Good Saturday evening, my Christmas friends!
Nancy and I went out for an early anniversary celebration last night. After a steak at Longhorns we went to Hobby Lobby! I love it there this time of year, and they didn't let me down!
This morning I helped my mom pick up the stray pecans that the harvester missed last week, then came home and took a nap. I must be getting old.
I have men's breakfast at church in the morning. Since our church meets at 9:30am, breakfast is a 8:00am. Luckily, time changes tonight, so I still get to keep that hour of sleep.

Man, it was great. Just cold.
Now, for some Christmas planning, as soon as I can figure when we are moving. I hope I get to move next weekend and do Christmas stuff the weekend after, but I will take what I can get.

WOW!!! I am running behind this year. I have all my cards made out. I still have to go dig out all my goodies and I start baking in TWO weeks. I am probably gunna wait to put the tree up for another week or so, just depends on a few things. Not too sure yet, it might go up tonight if I get the urge. Our outside lights are going to be skimpy this year because with all the economy stuff we just can't afford a big light set up. Great news though, Ole' Baldy has been fixed and he will remain as our tree for a few more years. We love our little tree and it saddened us last year when we thought it was gunna be the last for it. But it is now fixed and ready for more years to come. I will be posting pics as soon as I get ALL of it done.

cheesy Guess what??? I picked up my first carton of eggnog yesterday. Finally, it has made it's way to our grocery stores (not all of them).
Today, I'm going to my first Christmas bizarre and bake sale with my mom. I like this one better than the one taking place next weekend. It has more unique ornaments and retro type gift tags, etc. if I pick up some homemade fudge for my husband, he won't even miss the money I'll spend. HaHa.
Undrtkr, I don't think the Christmas Blossom visitors would mind viewing your festive photos in amidst the shots of various stores and street decorations.

Good Morning ... the other night the family I went to the Christmas Tree Shoppe ... Love that store. The kids and I picked up new Christmas books and I also picked up some new Christmas Decorations. Later today we will take down the outside Halloween deocrations, will leave up the orange lights, fall garland, pumpkins and scarecrows until Thanksgiving though. Going to start wrapping some gifts later today and maybe watch a Christmas movie too.

i'm just gonna treat myself to a coffee and a chocolate chip muffin before i get on with my housework.
I am watching What A Wonderfull Life right now....I love it....it has a certain warm feeling to it....and I am defenitely a fan of the movie now.....bought it this week and I know why it is a classic now....beautiful

bonfire night was superb, went to a local display, then back to my cousin's house for christmas music and mulled wine. we had a great night.
christmas movies all day today on movies 24, currently watching prancer returns!
i wish i had that channel.....we are leavin the house now so kandi can ride on a carussel and then we go to our lantern parade for the st. martin holiday....it is gon be beautiful
