Good morning! So to the fellow snowbirds - how much thus far? For us in Philly - 20 inches!!!!!! Second time this season with 20+ inches, which is apparently a record!! My poor husband is working today and has to deliver!! He works in a brewery and people go to bars when it snows.. and of course, it's the Super Bowl tomorrow. I am praying he stays warm and safe!

Good mroning all...at last check we have around 16 inches of snowing and it's still snowing..... Just finished off a pot of coffee and have the turkey cooking away in the oven. Going to go outside his afternoon and start shoveling and once the wind does down we will bundle up the kids and let them go out and play!!!!

Well we ended up with 9 inches of heavy wet snow. Mom had to be at work at 7 this morning so i was up at 5am to start shoveling. When I went to go outside I couldn't get the door open. The wind had picked up overnite and there was a 3 foot snow drift in front of it. I had to go out the back door and walk around the building to start shoveling. I have been shoveling off and on since then and finally decided to call it quits. I figured I shoveled out 6 cars and about 300 feet worth of sidewalk and that was enough. Mom said the roads weren't to bad once she got into town and away from the open fields. The rest of the day will be spent watching nascar coverage all day and with a heating bad to my back.cheesy I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:hello: It was supposed to be sunny enough to get out there and take some winter pictures. There's a break in the overcast sky now, but it's too cold to take my camera out for a walk.

Can't believe I'm making plans to watch the Super Bowl this year. Oh yeah, but it's because I had a craving for certain munchy foods that I associate with playoffs.

So, I guess I'm not a die hard fan of either team - I'm going to root for the team with the best uniform. :hello: HaHa.

I had the same thing happen a few years ago. Fortunately my neighbours where out and came to rescue me. (not nearly as romantic as it sounds!) cheesy

Its been raining all day here, so I thought it would be fun to bake some cookies..
Its such a winter day, that I think Christmas is the only thing missing... :-?

I was baking today too, made a couple dozen buns and some cinnamon rolls with cream cheese icing.

That's a nice pile of snow!
All we got stuck with today is clear blue skys and bright sunshine.
There is also a very cold wind blowing, but no snow in sight.

Christmasstar, I made cinnamon rolls this morning too! YUM! Perfect morning for that!

Crown, this is for you ~ While at the store yesterday I picked up some black TEA!! I'm not being a trader to my coffee...no way...but I had a couple cups of tea this morning & I really like it!!! I have been reading about health benefits of black tea & I have always like tea...just haven't drank it in years!! I love to drink something warm this time of year & I feel like I've been drinking way too much coffee...so I'll throw in a little tea here & there too! LOL! Maybe one of these Wednesdays we can have a cup of tea together at the pines!

Coach- Junior qualifed 2nd for the 500. The car would have gone faster but he said that it bottomed out real bad in turn 3. Well now it is time to get ready for the ARCA race and time to see how danica does in her stock car debut.

Holiday and Christmasstar- Cinnamon rolls sound really good right now. I might have to whip up a batch tomorrow to go along with all of my other treats for the game.

i've been a busy bee so haven't had much of a chance to get on. hope we are all well?
