I'm here to ring in the New Year and say farewell to the 2010 Christmas Countdown Thread.

Hi, Auntie.
I was CERTAIN you would show up - it's become a New Year's Eve tradition!

It was raining today, started late yesterday and I thought for sure it would have put a damper on the local Families First New Year's Eve celebration, but the fireworks seemed to last longer than any other New Year's Eve and I could see them from the bedroom window. O'Malley was afraid of the fireworks.

They have a celebration from 4-8 p.m. each year so the children can enjoy it and some people will go home and celebrate more as a family and others will have a babysitter lined up and head out to enjoy adult celebrations - guilt free.

Christmas is for spending time with family and friends, New Year's is for us.

Oh, the other part of us is sleeping right now and so is O'Malley.

I has been raining off and on since yesterday here. It is like someone took a big eraser to our snow. 3/4's of it is gone now.
But, it is supposed to snow again on Tuesday. :snowball:

25 minutes.

O'Malley has discovered that moist food isn't so bad which means he's going on a diet in the New Year because he hasn't been eating much other than kibble since he was a kitten. Now, as he matures, he seems to like the taste of the stuff.

Thing is he can't get enough of it.

I've got Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve on.

12 minutes left to 2010 and this thread.
