I like the 24 hours of Daytona, too! Alot of fun. Can't wait for Superbowl weekend. The Saturday before they are having qualifying and the shootout...then on Sunday the Superbowl! It's almost too much for me to handle! That may be the best sports weekend ever for me! Already looking forward to it!

Well yesterday was a crazy day for me. I worked in the morning and then I had to babysit my nieces yesterday afternoon and last night. I got a chance to get on and read for a few minutes yesterday but I didn't have time to post. Today I am going to head out and work for awhile again. We have freezing rain this morning so I plan on staying close to home. This afternoon I plan on doing my taxes. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just realized they are having a rally in downtown Indianapolis for the colts today. I may head that way this afternoon and do my taxes later.

Sounds like the roads are pretty slick with the freezing rain so I may wait awhile before I go out and work. It sounds like it should end with in the hour and start warming up.

Very overcast here this morning with rain predicted for today, Friday, Sunday and Monday. Only Saturday is supposed to be dry. Oh, well. If it must be just one day, that's a good one!
We currently stand at 41 and I doubt it will get too much warmer with no prospect of sun.

I can't wait!!!!!! This weekend really starts the build up to daytona for me. We have the colts playing on sunday in the AFC championship game and the Barrett Jackson car auction is on all day on saturday. I love to watch it and dream about the hot rod I want to build one day. Then next weekend is the 24 hours of daytona which really gets me excitied for racing to start.

I use to be so hooked on NASCAR. Just about every year from the first time Texas Motor Speedway opened we would go to the Busch and Winston Cup race. I know they they changed the name of those now but I just haven't followed it much these days. My favorite driver is Jeff Gordon and still have a few die cast cars of his.

Been meaning to tell yall that I have been sneaking away for a few minutes each day to check out the sight. It's so much fun to do because it provides an escape. How many of you do this? This is like a home away from home; a place to come and get away from everything else. Anyways, just throwing that out there.

Good afternoon, everyone!

I missed dropping by this morning. I don't know how. There was not a whole lot of work at the office, but oh well! We're currently overcast and -13C with the windchill. The sun is supposed to come out soon and warm it up to -4C but we shall see! Only 3 more hours of work until I can go home for the weekend. It excites me, although it has been a relatively quiet day today, it's nice to have those days where I can focus on school work....

We're nearly half way to 1000. I am sure we can do it this weekend! Enjoy the rest of your day, everyone!!

Good Afternoon everyone. It's been a few days since I was last on here and man you guys have been just rolling on. Got a lot to read and catch up on. Well I picked up a few more packs of Christmas cardss earlier thsi week. They were marked donw 90% off the orignal price so now I should be good to for next Christmas. I ran out of cards this past Christmas.

Gotta stop at the store later this evening and pick up more coffee...it's on sale and I am down to 2 cans so I want to another can or two. You can never have too much coffee on hand!!!! cheesy

I had to go by the house at lunch. There's water everywhere. It's actually flowing through my yard! I have a couple dogs in the yard and I had to move them to higher ground. My labrador loves getting wet, but my beagle looked miserable.
