I have another busy Sunday but it will be good. My first day off from work and babysitting should be Wednesday or Thursday. I am ready for a relaxing day. cheesy

Big day today, but first have to do chores and such, our clothes washer broke down so we need to go to the laundromat to wash our clothes, the washer is only 1.5 years old so it is frustrating and the repairman is now 4 days into doing nothing! Tonight my wife and I get to go to the Straight No Chaser concert, I think it is the first time we have gone out on a date since Christmas shopping the Saturday after Thanksgiving. I just want to give a quick story of random kindness. A friend of mine at work yesterday walked up to me and handed me an autographed Boston Bruins hockey puck, he told me he had 2 of them and he did not need the second one. Needless to say I thanked him profusely and told him he did not need to do that. Sometimes you can be pleasantly surprised.

Well I have a busy morning today. I have to run and pick up my nieces birthday cake at sams club and then go and pick up the balloons for her party at party city. Then it is off to my sisters to help decorate and get everything ready. Hopefully I will get home in time to see the end of the nascar race if it doesn't get rained out. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning, my fun-loving Christmas friends! Hope this finds you 1/2 way into a great weekend. Crown, that countdown just keeps on creeping down! Sure is exciting. We are almost to the point in the year where I start getting really excited. As soon as we get to July, it seems the rest of the year flies by. Just a personal countdown note, this week I reach "100 days" until my Christmas prep and plan begins. I can't believe that!

A gentle breeze is blowing by here this morning as the sun shines down on what looks to be a very nice day.
It's a bit chilly yet at 58 but we are supposed to reach the mid 60's by this afternoon with no precip in the forecast.
Our 2nd-half-of-the-weekend count:
Days to the Season: 209
Days to Christmas Day:251
Well lookie there! SINGLE digits to our next Milestone, the 1/3 Christmas Day mark.
Then tomorrow, we drop to single digits to the next marker, the 200-day Season window the following day.
Those two will be here before you know it, then on to the half way Season point.
Wow!
My 36 year old clothes dryer began making a terrible squeeking noise and sounded like it was on it's last legs, but before searching for a new one, I decided to give it a few shots of WD-40 in strategic places.
It's now running like new as I type this!
(I love trying to see how many years I can get out of appliances.)

Made, it is very chilly and very rainy here right now. I was thinking you you Nascar fans who might not get to see a dry track today. I am glad we didn't plan to go to the races this year. Maybe the sun will come out and surprise us!

That is very nice about getting the signed puck. My boss handed me a movie script from Blazing Saddles that was signed by the big smiling cowboy from the movie (can't think of his name) and told me to give it to my dad. My dad collects autograph's. I was so happy that he thought of my dad and gave it to him.
I agree. Thanks Crown for the countdown! July does get exciting and thinking about Christmas really kicks in full gear for me. cheesy

I have a few moments, so I figured that I would stop in. The count is looking very good, especially as we move toward single digits for our next milestone. It's a nice day here in Ottawa. We're in double digits and should reach a high of about 12C (54F) today. Not bad at all.
Plenty of playoff hockey on TV today. I think I shall watch a few games of that. But, before I do, Kim and I are going out to see if we can find some new shoes for the both of us! What an exciting afternoon. Tomorrow, it's down to business for my final essay.

hi my christmas people. we had a beautiful day here, the sun was shining and we drove to a nice park in Mannheim (17km away from my hometown) and had a picnic there with our friends. It<s was a beautiful day
