My sister just found a duck in the bush along the side of her house. Her problem is going to be keeping my nieces away from it.
It's not a very good photo but she took it with her phone.

Well I had a long morning of working. I hit a couple of the small towns close by and finished up downtown indianapolis. Then I stopped by the grocery store on the way home. I was going to buy some fruit but the price of everything was over $2 a pound expect banannas. So I decided to wait to see if anyone runs it on sale. Not much planned for the rest of today. They released my aunt form the hosiptal this morning so I will probally go over and see how she is doing. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hate when the kids get hurt. I wish I could bear the pain for them. Hope he feels better soon.Hi all, crazy morning! My 2 yr old slipped in the tub and split his chin.. first big "boo boo!"So scary. Took him to the doc and he said he could use a stitch but it wasn't 100% necessary so he thought we could skip it.. my poor guy. He was so brave and didn't cry for too too long. I think I was more scared than him! Glad that is behind us... now on to an afternoon of relaxing and snuggling..
Brad.. after this winter..bring on the 90s... bring it on and on...

Ah, finally....I got to see snow fall this year. It has been a dry winter and when it has snowed here it seemed I was stuck on the road in SoCal or Arizona or somewhere where it is perpetual summer. But today we got hit pretty good and it has put me in a Christmasy mood.
Also...thought I'd let folks who don't stray beyond this thread often know NOT to be surprised if they show up one day and this place looks entirely different. I've been working for months on an upgrade and I'm getting closer to being done with it. As I know when I will flip the switch I will try to alert folks...just wanted to send a warning shot over the bow.

Well, its morning and I'm out of bed, nothing like a noisy alarm clock to get a person going!
Dog sitting this weekend, so have also been out for a walk already. My girlfriend has gone to Niagara Falls with her girls for a few days and will be back on Sunday afternoon.

Yes, yet another work week is winding down to a close as we step-stone the way back to our Grand and Glorious Christmas Season.
Let us see how many steps remain:
Days to the Season: 197
Days to Christmas Day: 239
Half way to the Season two weeks from tomorrow, Guys!
A gentle breeze moves the leaves on the trees outside my window as I type this. The sun shines down while my back door thermometer reads a still chilly 56 degrees (but, on the way up to a predicted high of 83).
With the humidity still low, that will feel nice!

Thanks for everyones well wishes for my daughters job interview as a lab instructor in college. I told her you all wished her well and she said, "THANKS!"
She went for the interview Wednesday afternoon. She felt good about it but then the nerves kicked in because they told her they were interviewing 12 people for the job and told her if she doesn't hear anything by Monday at 7 pm that the position is filled. Well, they called her yesterday morning and told her she got the job!
She had so many obstacles in the way before she could finish up college. She had a baby, what a blessing, but she was afraid she couldn't keep up with college and raising the baby plus her 2 other children. With her husband, my mom and myself we helped out with that. Then she had that car accident that injured her. She is still in pain but managed to keep her perfect attendance and 4.0 grade average. After the car accident she felt it ruined her life. I told her to keep praying and that God will get her through all this and she will be better than before. She said God has blessed her big time! I tell her to be strong but I am not sure I would have held up through all this. I think she is stronger than me! She is smarter than me too! :lol:

Whatever you do, don't starve yourself! That's the worse thing you can do to your body, you will rob it of nutrition. I am sure you know this but just here to remind you to take care of yourself. :wink:

I dog sit quite a bit for my brother. The problem is, I don't want the dogs to leave when he comes to pick them up! Lol. I get very attached. Good thing I have 2 dogs of my own but wouldn't mind more. cheesy
