Today my Dad would have been 70 years old. We were planning to take my Mom out tonight, but Elizabeth is still sick, and it's raining too much. We'll try to do something this weekend with her. Miss you, Daddy.

Which ones are your favorites? I have to look at it again. I wonder if it's in stores yet! My son LOVES Curious George so I'll definitely be getting that one!

Our friends from the city are coming to visit today! Being car-less makes it hard to visit and we've both been busy selling our houses so we are SO EXCITED to see them today!!! It's Jude's best bud and my very close friend so it should be fun!!

This is perfect timing to post the Dreambook since I don't think I would have time to look at it until today. cheesy

Good Morning everyone... the girls had a softball game last night. Offically the game ended in a tie but unoffically they won 6 - 0. We have another game tonight and Friday night.

Early Signs of Christmas 2010

• The San Jose Holiday Parade has been scheduled. I was there two years ago: an outdoor ice skating rink (under palm trees!), and a downtown park full of themed Christmas trees decorated by local groups, along with animated life-size dioramas of Santa's workshop and the like. Even fake snow machines. That California city does a good job of celebrating Christmas!

• Another North Carolina item: The National Christmas Tree Association will hold its annual convention there in August.

• Attention, quilters: The book Christmas with Possibilities, 16 Quilted Holiday Projects will be out in July. By December you should have 16 finished.

How sweet! When my grandkids come over, that is all they want to watch is Christmas shows.

Just popping in before bed, relaxing doing a few posts watching a sort of Christmasy movie Gremlins. One of my all-time favorites! It has been a long hectic day for me. Did another weigh in today I now have lost a total of 8 lbs, I am shocked and happy how fast I have lost that weight.

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

Boy, it's foggy out today. Maybe it won't get too hot, but they are talking about 90° by this afternoon. Whew!

I haven't seen the foxes in a couple days now, but then I haven't had a chance to really look for them. I'll try to pay closer attention when I go home this afternoon.

The remodel is still going on. Hey, at least I have a kitchen sink now! Nancy wanted a cast iron sink. It's so heavy that, although I was able to move it to the kitchen, I couldn't lift it onto the counter top. Our contractor (Nancy's brother) helped me lift it yesterday, and I got the plumbing finished. Not even too many leaks! I know, it's a small victory, but I'll take it.

Good morning! How is it Thursday already? This week is flying!

We got a new Realtor yesterday and she is fantastic. This is our 4th agent (long story!) and we're kind of anxious to get a house to get ready for this baby so we were getting nervous. Well this lady is wonderful and took my husband out right away. And we're seeing more houses tomorrow. I am very hopeful that we'll find a house soon now!!!

Thanks for the info!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I added it to my calender. This is a great show to go to and they always have alot of cool crafts. cheesy
