• Toronto hosts its 106th annual Santa Claus Parade in November, while Montreal hosts its 60th annual Défilé du Père Noël.
• Sterling Children's Books will publish six new volumes in its series of Twelve Days of Christmas books in October, each set in a different location, from Arizona to Wisconsin.
• More kicks! The national touring company of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, starring the Radio City Rockettes, will play 34 performances in Providence, Rhode Island in November, and 53 performances in Boston in December.

Good Friday morning, my Christmas friends!
My mom brought us a large crockpot full of goulash (love that stuff!) for supper yesterday. Our new stove is still in the warehouse, waiting on the new floor to be installed, hopefully Monday. We've been eating out for two weeks. It was nice to eat at home again, even if it was paper plates & plastic forks, sitting in the living room floor.

Ah! You had an indoor picnic. One day my grandson really wanted to go outside but it was rainy. I told him we could have an indoor picnic. We put a blanket on the floor and ate our lunch. He thought that was fun!
I have been so busy helping my son get enrolled in college, working and watching my grandkids. We got everything done and he starts in July. Yesterday I was very tired and very lazy. I did a little cleaning, watched the grandkids for an hour, went to the store then came home and laid around. The past 2 weeks wore me out, I hope I have more energy today.

Not really but it is by my choice. To told hubby that I justed to hang at home for most of the day as there is stuff I want to get done and fire up the grill for dinner. Make a dessert or 2 with the kids. Hubby's mom is in town and his sister just has a baby a few weeks ago. Hubby's mom wants to go out for brunch but we just do not have the money. I suggested to hubby's sister that everyone does what they want to for breakfest/dinner and then we all get together at one of the houses for dessert and coffee that evening. Still waiting to hear back from her.

Happy Friday, all! Have a prenatal appt today and then some house hunting this evening... no real exciting plans this weekend, just seeing my mom and hopefully getting to kick back while the men do the work all day!

WOW 233 days left? We will be putting up the tree in no time! So far we haven't had super hot weather yet (Thank GOD) and Saturday get this...They are calling for SNOWyay!! Well I have to head off to work. Have a good Friday!
WOW it is going to be chilly here tomorrow with a high of 55 but we haven't had snow in almost 2 months.

I'll be outside for most of the weekend, so this snow business definitely does not impress me for once. At least, I'll have to bring my winter jacket out on more time to keep warm! Cold rain and wind remains the forecast for Toronto. 40 km winds in the forecast? That's unbelievable. I don't know how we're going to play in that.

It's Friday!!! It snowed here a couple days ago. We got between 6-8 inches. It's been melting away thou...thank goodness. Hope everyone is doing fine and dandy. I am well and staying busy with work and life in general. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Seems like summer has already come...it's almost impossible to stand on the street...but isn't it exactly what we were waiting for?
My studying year is almost over (got several exams and a coursework), so tired of everything...but in 2 weeks I'll be already in America))) can't wait))
I was surprised to discover that you celebrate Mother's Day this Sunday...In Russia we have it on the last Sunday of November...and this Sunday we're having Victory Day)))
Well, another reason to congratulate my Mum once again)))
BTW, I searched in google and found that Father's day is celebrated on the 3rd Sunday of June. Is it so popular in America, cause (don't know why) we don't nave it...Anyway, since now I gonna celebrate it)))
