It is snowing here! On and off all day, nothing staying but very windy and cold. Tried to take a picture but did not show up very well. If I knew how to post a video I could do that, but alas, I do not.
Hope it warms up tomorrow.

hey Johnor...it sounds great.....Kandice, my niece Sarah mum and I were at nature park today....goats, deer, pics and everything....great playgrounds and on...the kids loooooooooooved it....and there was a babygoat.....about a day old....I fell in love with it

No snow here but we have the wind and the cold. It is 44 degrees out right now. Hard to believe that it was 82 yesterday. :-?

Well I just got done cleaning up from dinner. It was interesting trying to cook a big dinner with a 5 year old and a 2 year old running around screaming. Now it is time to kick back and watch the nascar race.

• Ride the Grand Canyon Railway's Polar Express in November and December.

I would love to do this. I went out to visit my great aunt and uncle in phoenix about 7 years ago and we went up to Williams and rode the train up to the grand canyon. It was a blast. They had a cowboy band that went from car to car and you have a conductor on every car that points out different land marks along the way. On the way back the train gets robbed. Our conductor said that they are the only train that stops every day to let the robbers on. We went the weekend before easter and it snowed the night before so it was a beautiful ride. I am sure that they would do a wonderful job with the polar express.

I am sitting here waiting on my nieces to come in. I got volunteered to babysit this morning while my sister and mom go so some shopping. I also picked up a fresh turkey at the grocery store this morning so I am thinking about having a minutare thanksgiving dinner this evening. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

• The singing trio Wilson Phillips has reunited to release their first Christmas album in October. They had three #1 singles in the '90s ("Hold On", "Release Me" and "You're in Love").

• Gooseberry Patch Christmas Book 12 will be published in August, with recipes, projects and gift ideas combining the homespun and the modern.

• Say "Amen", somebody! The Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra Holiday Concert A Gospel Christmas is in December.

And boy, has the count moved right along in my absence!

And lookee, lookee!
Under a week now to the half way season Milestone.
Wow! Just Wow!

Things are ship-shape at the cottage and we are nearing being ready for this year's rental season.
Will probably be back over there for the Memorial Day weekend to do final cleaning.

It had been quite warm and humid up until this morning, when chilly temps returned.
It is not supposed to get out of the 60's all day.
Currently, we show 57 degrees on the backyard thermometer.

I'm taking my mom out for Mother's Day brunch as usual. We love it!

:rudolph: On Friday, I needed a Christmas fix so I watched a Christmas slideshow on the computer. Yesterday, I was making a new fitness cd and added Kenny Loggin's "Celebrate Me Home" as a cool down - stretch song. It was raining at the time.
When I came out of the shower, it had changed to Fluffy Rain and by the time I was dressed and ready to head to the gym, we were into a full blown snowstorm.

I'm sure it was all my fault a little bit Kenny's too.

Good morning everyone. It is a sunny day here and the temps are supposed to be back up to 60 today from 45 yesterday. Me and mom are getting ready to head out to my sisters house and then out to lunch somewhere. I got mom some plants for the garden and then we are taking her out for lunch. I also made her chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
