Happy Mother's Day!

I have the day off from work. We are going to church then going by my moms house to drop off her gift. Not sure what we will do the rest of the day, maybe just relax! cheesy

Hope everyone is enjoying the beginning of their Mother's Day. Just sitting here drinking coffee and reading the boards. I love Sunday mornings....just love them! I will be in and out all day, so I will see everyone later.

I just got back from taking mom out to lunch. We went to cracker barrel with my sister, nieces, and my aunt. We decided to skip church and go early before the crowds got there. Apparently everyone else decided that to. There was a 45 minute wait at 10:30 in the morning. None of us wore jackets so we stayed inside and looked around the gift shop the whole time. I was amazed at how good my nieces were the entire time we were there. After lunch we headed back to my sisters house for cake and then we headed home. This afternoon is going to be spent relaxing and getting ready for work this week.

Actually, I haven't decided yet...my agency helps me to find a place to stay and a job for summer...and I think that wherever I go I'll love it))))))

Another day, another week, another count figure:
Days to the Season: 187
Days to Christmas Day: 229
And so we decline to a bare 5 days until our next Milestone, the HALF WAY marker to the Season.

It was nice and cool here yesterday after a steamy Saturday.
Today should be a tad warmer, although it is still only 55 at the moment.
The skies are sunny, however, and the ubiquitous bird are singing up a storm outside.

Good Morning!

My hubby has off work today! We have enjoyed a 3 day weekend together. Tonight is my daughter's graduation. Looking forward to seeing family on her dad's side that will be there tonight. I have always been close to them all.

Good Morning everyone.... Had a very busy but wonderful weekend. Hubby surprised me by having flowers delivered to me over the weekend from the kids. We went to a brunch with his side of the family and then we went out to dinner with my mom. The kids were worn out by bed time last night.

After having hot temps and the AC on over a week ago to the nice crisp cool weather we are having now makes me think of Fall. Not looking forward to hot hot temps and the HIGH humidity fo summer yet to come.

We are have pitching tryout out tonights. Half of the girls on the team want to pitch so we are having try outs and will pick the top 2 or 3 girls.

Well hopefully today will go by quick I want to be outside enjoying this weather. Have a great day!!!

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

We had a great Mother's Day yesterday. After church, we took Nancy & my mom to Savannah for dinner, then let them shop all afternoon with complaint. Then we had dinner with Nancy's mom & dad.

I worked till 11:30 last night moving the washer, dryer, filing cabinets, etc. out of the utility room so my cousin could put the floor in this morning. I got a text from him at 7am this morning...he can't come till Thursday. Grrrr. :-? Now I have to move the washer/Dryer back in. We can't wait three days to wash clothes.

Aside from that, it was a pretty good weekend.
