I watched a cute show last night (that I taped from the other night) called "Hot in Cleveland". Anyone else see it? Its new and sooooooooo funny (isn't laughing the greatest)! If you haven't seen it - check it out on Monday nights and let me know what you think.

back from my morning walk and am dripping, it is hot already out there. But all this work is so worth it!
I have now lost just over 32lbs and the dress for my neices wedding zips up, even when I have it on. cheesy

Good morning all.. checking in from vacation. This is our last full day here as we leave tomorrow to head back home, taking the auto train to VA and then driving the rest of the way home. Should be home by lunch time on Friday.
Had a nice time yesterday at Downtown Disney - a bunch of shops and places to eat. They even had a Christmas Store.. took bunch of pics. Will post them this weekend.
Today we are taking the kids to the Florida Aquarium. Going to watch HSN here and there....

My grandkids are on their way over. I will have HSN on my laptop because they will want to play video games on the big tv. Of course I can't just sit still all day and watch it but it will be on while I am taking care of the kids.

I forgot to mention but we have a really nice thrift store nearby that every year in July they have their Christmas in July sale. All the Christmas stuff is half price for the whole month of July. They always have nice things and the original price is already cheap, half price is better!

We had hard rain for a short time last night but it's clear, sunny and 78 degrees as I type this.
More precip is predicted, however.

What better way to celebrate reaching another Milestone than a tall glass of the sweetest Southern Iced Tea this side of heaven at the Shispering Pines?
Goes great with Carl's Fired Twinkies and Mauradio Sugar Cookies.

hi everybody, hope all is fine with you.

unfortunately...Kandice is sick again, and nobody knows what it is....she has fever attacks with terrible headaches.....we´ve been at the doctor´s today and he will take blookd tomorrow morning....he checked urine already and all is fine there...he said it could even be Pfeiffer´s disease...which is rare for little children, but it happens....we´ll know more when the blood is examined

Track, I hope Kandice is feeling better today. Sending a prayer her way!

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I took my son for his guitar lesson yesterday. I play, but I'm mostly self-taught and I want him to learn the right way. Anyway, the instructor is the owner of a music store, and the little brother of my best friend. In his store, he encourages you to pickup a brand-new guitar, plug into any amp and try it out. That's so uncommon, at least around here. Most places have DO NOT TOUCH sings everywhere, unless you have your checkbook out. So, I don't mind waiting while Jacob has his lesson...LOL!

I am making a Christmas dinner today for the grandkids and I. Quorn brand Turk'y (fake turkey, I am vegetarian), veggie stuffing, cranberry sauce and veggies. I might make a pumpkin dessert too. The rest of my family are meat eaters but I don't have a real turkey to make today. Not sure I want to mess with it anyway, lol. This turk'y really taste like the real deal according to everyone in my family even my picky son. It even fooled my cat! My cat LOVES poultry and eats some every time I make it. Judesmama can vouch for the taste of Quorn brand too. cheesy

That is great! I am surprised my son didn't take up guitar his dad has played all his life.

Thanks! I was feeling bad yesterday and around noon my son and mom took over watching the kids and I slept for a few hours. About an hour after my nap was the best I have felt in a week and I am feeling good today! I thought perfect timing to have a Christmas in July celebration with the kids. cheesy
