She said that they stopped at a garage sale this afternoon and that my youngest niece took off running as soon as they got there. My sister ran after her and when she got to her my niece had found a stuffed Santa doll and kept saying my Ho Ho. She refused to sit it down and made my sister buy it for her. My sister said that she has been walking around all evening holding it and saying I love Ho Ho. So at 2 years old I have my niece just as crazy about santa as I am.

Good morning, friends. Quite a day here yesterday. Ended up not getting much done, but was just busy. Isn't that odd? Things are really beginning to pick up. The start of school is in just over a week and it's going to be hectic from here in.

My wife is sick! I hate it when she's sick because there is nothing I can do. Bless her heart, she spent from 6 until 10 laying in bathroom floor and I got her back in bed. I fell asleep on the couch and when I woke up at 2, she was back on the floor. She stayed in bed all night so it appears that she is calmed down, but I hope it doesn't come back.
 
I wish there was something Christmassy on. I know Christmas Vacation was on the other night.....wish it was on again. I could use that right now.

Days to Christmas Day: 139
Yes, Folks. We are now under a week away from the 75% Season mark which will fall on August 14.

OK. It is supposed to reach the mid 90's today and tomorrow, then 100 degrees for both Tuesday and Wednesday, before "cooling off" to the upper 90's for the balance of the week.
Add in the humidity and.......well, you get it.
Even Binger would (well, might) hesitate to drink coffee here.
(That's the advantage us iced tea lovers have!!)

I hope she gets feeling better soon!!!!!!!!!!
 
Well the heat is returning here today. In a normal summer we would have 12 days above 90 degrees. We have had 21 so far this year and the next 7 days are forecasted to be over 90. I am really wishing winter would get here soon. My big plan for today involves cleaning my carpets and watching the nascar race. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
