Same here, Binger. Last week, we had a day with 116 heat index. Last night on the news, they said it would be much cooler this week with only 97 degree highs.

While reading the paper this morning I found another sign that the season is going to be here before we know it. There was a advertisement announcing when the auditions will be for the annual circle of lights in downtown Indianapolis. The auditions don't start until September 30th but it is nice to see that the planning has already begun.

Update on the wife....she is up and at em! Right around two, she started functioning again. I guess it was a 48 hr. virus or something like that. Thanks for your well-wishes!
That's super, Made! Only 63 days until Thanksgiving in Canada! I am starting to tell the family to mark the day for Thanksgiving Family Day at our house!
Oh...and my Nativity Scene will be out at that time too! YA!
PHEW! What a weekend! With Emma here and then celebrating the boys' birthdays today...it went by sooooooooo quickly!
So...at the birthday celebration I wispered in Emma's ear to tell her Mommy that "Santa Claus is coming to town"...and she said it! Then someone joked and asked if I started decorating for Christmas yet. Ya...they all know me very well cheesy!
When it was time to leave to come home today...Emma did not want me to leave. She was holding onto me for dear life crying, "Don't go, Grammie"! Well...it made me feel good - and broke my heart at the same time. Ya...tears welled up in my eyes. My grand-daughter sure has my heart! We've got such a special bond. She will always be Grammie's little girl!!!

Well hello all! Busy weekend! Saturday morning a friend came over. Video games and bbq. Today we went to my friend Bedford's memorial lunch. Lots of great memories and food. Oh we had some funny stories about him. lol. Now I'm just relaxing and listening to Christmas music. OH I signed up for the card exchange (If you don't know you can now!) so I'm pumped about that. It was cool on saturday but the humidity is back again. Why cant it just go away till next year? 
I know, I know. Soon it will. Next weekend is my Dads surprise 60'th birthday party in Windsor. Should be a blast! Have a good evening all! OH yes I forgot! I saw a Better Homes and Gardens magazine with Christmas stuff in it. It was a whole Christmas magazine!! woo!

So Glad You signed up for the Christmas Card exchange !!! That is so cool about Better Homes And Gardens....I am so anxious for Christmas !!!! It is good that you have fond memories of your friend. I know speaking for myself, memories sustain me a lot. I listened to AccuHolidays for a few hours this evening. I always choose "easy listening Christmas" for some reason...just seems to be the station that plays the classics like Andy Williams, Carpenters, Nat King Cole, etc. That I love so much !!
