WOW! There sure was a lot to read on this thread tonight!

Man...I cannot wait to get my Sear's Christmas Wish book! YA!

The good: For those who believe the seasons starts the day after Thanksgiving (and if you polled America, I bet that would be the date getting the most votes), it is 100 days away. Yes Black Friday is approaching.

The bad: Last night I wrecked my wife's car. Wasn't looking and pulled out in front of somebody. Our 14 month foster baby missed taking the brunt of the impact by about 6 inches. Instead the rear tire absorbed most of the hit. Amazing how hard a hit it was and, other than the wheel well, how little the car is messed up. Baby, me and the other driver were all checked out on the scene and everybody is fine. Other driver was able to drive away with only front bumper damage. I had to get towed because the whole wheel and struts are mangled but the frame is still straight and every door and the trunk open and close just fine. Maybe the bill will not be too bad.

Baby screamed her head off for the 1st minute after the collision and I don't wish that kind of fear of the unknown on any parent. And she is just our foster child, but we think of her as our own even though it is likely she will be leaving us to go back to her parents in a few months (bad situation). But, again, she is just fine and the soreness in my ribs and arm from the side airbag went away overnight.

Just got home from JP's follow-up appointment from his surgery, the Dr says all is well so that chapter is closed. The Dr looked like he was as old as Doogie Howser, it made me feel quite old. We took the boys out for lunch after that and JP ordered his first steak (I am so proud) it is so nice to see him eat something besides chicken nuggets or hot dogs at a restaurant and then for dessert both boys had a choco chip cookie sundae and it was served inside of a mini Boston Red Sox helmet. Well I got to go to work in 30 min.

GOOD NEWS!!!!!!!!!!

My son didn't have a seizure after all - it was INDUCED VERTIGO from spinning around quickly!!!!!! It really resembled a seizure (and my mom is epileptic which is why I panicked) but the doctor was able to distinguish that it was only vertigo because his eyes went completely to the left and right vs. going from the middle to one side and back with a seizure. WHAT A RELIEF! His EEG, CT scan, and bloodwork were all normal and they assured me his brain is perfectly normal and he is "very bright" (I coulda told ya that!!) :) I feel like I can finally just unwind a bit and enjoy being pregnant for the next few days/week.

Here we are, Christmas friends! Another day closer!!!

I've been seeing posts of "signs" of Christmas - and I cannot tell you just how happy I am about that!!! Some time nearing mid to the end of September, I'll be starting to scope out Canadian Tire in town here because they are always the first ones to start displaying their Christmas things!

Now...any other time during the year I don't go to Canadian Tire - but around this time of year I know that soon they will be bringing out their Christmas decorations and I got for little trips to that store to see the progress from beginning to end!

Then...as soon as they starting displaying Christmas items...every weekend my husband and I go there to look at it all!

Its just sooooooooo EXCITING!!!! :???:

I went to bed last night with the song, "I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas" stuck in my head. Now that's the way to fall asleep!

Anyway...gotta run! Have a super and merry day everyone!!! See you all later!

If one does not get delivered to you - then you can always pick one up at Sears!
