Well like Christmas a Holic and Snow in Texas I decided to have a christmas filled day. I was slow getting started this morning but I finally got moving and headed out to hobby lobby. I spent almost 2 hours there looking at all of the christmas stuff. They had put up all of the christmas trees so it really felt like christmas in the store. They finally got some santas in but I resisted the urge to buy one since they weren't on sale. I did pick up a couple of santa ornaments though. Then it was off to michaels to see what christmas stuff they got in. They had 2 aisles of christmas stuff but nothing that I just had to have. So I left there and headed over to dollar tree. They had a ton of christmas cards out and marked down to 50 cents so I picked up a couple packs that had santas on them. They also had some cute little santa figures so I bought 3 of them. I had a blast just going around and looking at all of the christmas stuff today. I hope everyone else had a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!

What an awesome day, Made!!!!!!! I really want to head to see some Christmas stuff tomorrow.

Hope you have a WONDERFUL CHRISTMASSY DAY !! And If you see any polar bears in Christmas displays.....Ummmmmm Think of ME !!!!!!!! K ?? xo
I didn't see polar bears today but will keep an eye on them!

On our way to Target this morning started off sad. We were going down the road (very busy road) and saw 3 boys standing over a little dog who was laying on the curb shaking. I told Wayne maybe we should turn around and see if we can help. We went over there and this poor little dog, maybe 10 lbs., was laying there, labored breathing, eyes closed and trembling. They told me their dad saw the dog at 2:30 in the morning in the middle of the street and moved it to the curb. He said he called the pound but they have yet to come pick up the dog. I was kind of shock seeing it was almost 10:00 am and the dog was suffering this whole time. At that time a young lady came over to the dog and she didn't know who it belonged to but told me she sees dogs running around all the time outside. Wayne and I wrapped him in a blanket and told them we will take him to the vet and to let whoever know if they are looking for him what vet to call.

I took him into the vet office and it was crowded but they rushed him back to a room ahead of everyone else. I told them the situation and was really afraid they would send me somewhere else since it wasn't my dog. The vet took a look and said they will have to euthanize him. I thought since it was a stray is why they said that but I asked what would it cost to try to work on him and they explained that all the money in the world would not save him. They explained the condition but I forgot the name of it. Something to do with being paralyzed/coma with the labor breathing and he would not respond to anyone. Even though it was sad I was glad to see this poor little guy not suffer anymore.

I don't want to accuse this dog owner of neglect but I see it in my neighborhood, ALL THE TIME, people letting their dogs out the front door without a leash to go potty. I don't get it! They have backyards and don't use them for their dogs. We live in a very busy city with speeding cars all around. :-?

Better news is we did go to Cracker Barrel and looked at the nice Thanksgiving, Halloween and Christmas goodies. Then headed to Hallmark.

Judesmama, I was searching today for fall scented candles without much luck. Then headed to Big Lots where they had Halloween stuff out and finally found a pumpkin spice candle. It's inexpensive so I am not sure if it will smell real good when it's burning. It does smell good in the jar though. We will see! I was told to try Bath and Bodyworks for candles but not going to the mall during tax free weekend!

Made, we went to Dollar Tree as well but didn't have as much as yours. Mostly wrapping paper.

Oh Christmas-A-Holic! How utterly sad about that poor little pup!!! Poor little thing. You and Wayne are such super people for taking him to the vet - and trying everything to help!!!
