Hello everyone! I had a great day today. Tomorrow is my brother's first high school football game! I can't wait! Tomorrow I'm gonna put up the Fall stuff! I can't wait any longer! lol

I came home tonight to my new guitar! I spent some time playing it - and loved every minute of it! My fingers now have to get used to this guitar - but it shouldn't take long.

Just wanted to mention - one of our major DJ's in Britain said on his show this morning that this time next week will be September 1st "And you all know that means it's the start of Christmas"

He then proceeded to play "It's the most wonderful time of the year" !!!!!!!

What a way to start a Wednesday in August!!!!!!!!!

Good evening all!

Just sitting here watching the last hour of QVC cool stuff, but I won't buy any right now. I am a little tired from working all day but I am not quite ready for bed just trying to wind down a bit, so I am enjoying the peace and quiet in the house and the chirping of the frogs and crickets outside coming in from the window.

I saw another sign of Harvest/Autumn today: Little Debbie fall cakes and Pumpkin Delights were on the shelf, it is all coming together quickly now.

Good Thursday Morning, Christmas friends!

Well...only 5 hours sleep again last night. I sure do not get enough. Sometimes I wonder how I'm still able to walk around all day...without falling asleep! HA!

I'm going to lunch with my long lost friend today! Its funny...she said she just moved - from BRANTFORD (that's where I live)! She apparently lived less than 5 minutes away from me!

Ooops...I hear Mercedes awake. She'll be wanting to go outside now.

There is actually a chill in the air here! I woke up to 71 degree weather which is chilly compared to waking up to 80+ every morning. I love it!

I am not sure if anyone has read ChristmasHeart's new thread on here about sitting next to Santa on the way to work? I love it and hope you all get a chance to read it. What a nice experience before going to work. I feel like a little kid being jealous of someone sitting next to a celebrity. Hehe!

I guess I am keep the avatar, seems to be well liked and thanks for the compliments on it! I was just going to try it out at first but looks like it's a keeper. cheesy I am looking for a new signature next.

This is my Friday. The kids will be here shortly then I am off Friday and Saturday.

I'm going to go get my hair colored at the salon today. It's in desparate need.
Isn't that exciting? Aren't yall just thrilled?? hahaha
Going to go back to my original color of blonde..I think...
Just so ready for cooler temps and all the fall/winter activities and parties!! Have a blessed day yall!!

Good morning, everyone!!

We are on the downside of four months to Christmas Day as well as the weekend. Only one more day of work before the weekend. It will be quite an extended period of time away from work for me... Probably about eight months, in fall. Orientation begins on Wednesday!

A nice and brisk morning. It rained throughout the afternoon, evening and night, however, the travel to work was cloudy with a bit of sun. Temperatures around 16*C. Not bad at all. We are supposed to have a bit more rain today and the humidity will move in on Saturday. Even though it is my last weekend in Ottawa for more than a month, Kim and I do not have any plans as of yet. Hopefully we will think of something fun!

In celebration with August 25th, Home Alone 2 was only MovieTime last night. I watched it until about 11 and then fell asleep on the couch. I woke up at 7 AM on the very same couch. It is very comfortable, so I can understand how I slept on it all night...

Packers game tonight! Well, Packers vs. Made's Colts. It's only pre-season but the third game is the most important for the pre-season. We'll see how it goes. Other than the game, I only have to go to the gym right after work.

In just 3 WEEKS we will pass through the 100-day window to Christmas and enter the double-digit zone where everything starts to move in fast motion toward December 25.
(Better start getting psychologically ready!)

My grandkids and I are watching It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown. umpkin:

I got out my Halloween coffee cups to use. They will stay out until November 1st and at that time all my Christmas coffee cups and all my Christmas dishes will come out and stay until January 1st!

Has anyone ever order a battery-operated wreath from Bethlehem Lights?? I really want this one for my front door!

I don't have their wreath, but I do have two hanging baskets & two urns for the front porch. The batteries lasted from Thanksgiving through February 28. It might have been a little dim at the end, but I never had to change a battery!
