I don't know whose bright idea it was to move (mine), but I hope we don't listen to anymore of his ideas! What an idiot (I am)!

Moving, moving, moving. Almost done. Got some more to do, but it's not that bad, it's just time consuming. It is what you make of it. I make it a time to spend with my wife. Not quite how I enjoy spending time with her, but it's better than not at all.

Missed you guys yesterday and today. Weird....been coming here for a 1.5 years and one day away seems like one day I don't check on family!

Judesmom.....congrats. May you and your precious children be blessed in life. I pray that they bring you as much joy as I know you will bring them. God bless you and your family.

It is what you make of it. I make it a time to spend with my wife. Not quite how I enjoy spending time with her, but it's better than not at all.

You sound like my husband and I. We are a good team when it comes to work. If it's something that is not considered a desirable chore we make the best of it and enjoy our time together. We tend to cut up a lot and laugh so it makes the time go by smoother! cheesy

Just a quick drop in before I head to North Bay until (Canadian) Thanksgiving. My bus leaves at 10 AM and I think I have everything packed. We will see once I get there! Hope all is well with everyone else. It's the last day of August. September, Labour Day and fall are just around the corner. Fantastic!

Good evening fellow Christmas folk!


I am getting ready for sleep, once again I fell asleep with LC while tucking him in, and my wife woke me up again. JP starts kindergarten tomorrow, he met his teacher and classmates today at the open house, just seeing him interact with all the kids makes me see how much he has grown since he first started pre-school 2 years ago. I hope I don't cry when he gets on the bus for the first time.

When my son, who is the youngest, went off to kindergarten it was me who cried. We took him to school and went in with him. He was just fine and said, "mom, you can go now". Lol!

what up what up christmas folks. how u doin? all fine over here, goin to wake kandice in a moment, make her food for the breakfast in pre-school and then drive her there. the weather seems to be gettin a bit better....it was pouring down the last few days and was really cold...now the sun is coming back....not too extreme....but better than the terrible rain

Lucky you to get the cold weather. We are burning up here! Lol!

Well mom's plane just took off from atlanta so I should probably head to the airport. Goodnight Everyone!!!!!!!

Well - it was an uneventful day/evening yesterday. I woke up this morning still battling the pain in my head. I'm going to work anyway - and will just pray that it goes away!

Looking forward to the day when I wake up and be pain-free!

The first day of kindergarten is heartbreaking. I had to take off work on that day with both of my children. :cry:

My grandkids just got here and my 1 year old granddaughter has a fever. She acts happy as can be! She is the best baby in the world even when she is sick. Her dad is picking up some Tylenol right now and will be bringing it back by. They think she is teething, not sure though, just have to keep an eye on her and if she don't get better soon off to the doctors!

I have to start working on my husband today... even though it's going to be in the high 90s until Friday, I still feel like fall is in the air! The highs this weekend are supposed to be in the 70s!!! Yahoo!!!

Okay, back to my sweet baby. He's such a good boy and I am enjoying having a newborn again.. so sweet and cuddly!

The day after tomorrow we will be down to a mere 2 weeks off from the 100-day window to Christmas.
NOW, how is everyone this 2nd day of the work week??

Bright, calm, sunny and not too hot this final day of August here in Raleigh.
We stand at 72 with no chance of rain.
(Note to self: Be SURE to take that walk!)

OK, we have established that it's a Terrific Tuesday.
What's more, tomorrow already sees us at the peak of the week with the highly anticipated visit to the Shispering Pines.
And after that, we will be on the downhill slope to the weekend.

It's the last day of August. After today, and for the four months, all the months end in "ber"...I love it! : It's been so nice outside, I've been sittin' out on the front porch in the late afternoons and evenings playing guitar.
