Anyone else CHILLY today??? We are wearing long sleeves, pants and socks and I am a bit cold!! I have chili in the crockpot that smells sooo good.... I love this weather!

yep, that's us here. We had chicken soup for lunch and chili sounds like a great idea! cheesy I is only 16c very windy and dark clouds all day.

I had to force myself out of bed this morning only to have my son-in-law tell me the kids will not be coming over today. Lol! Oh well, I can get something done today, I hope! They might be over later.

I have been tuning into QVC on the shows they sell food. Right now they are Thanksgiving and Christmas themed. Sounds silly but I love watching it. They have the set decorated during most of these shows and talk about the holidays. The one thing they sell that I have been wanting to buy year after year is Mrs. Prindibles apples (candy coated apples). Has anyone tried those? They look sooooooooooooo good!

I am also looking for QVC and HSN Halloween shows. I would think by now they would be airing but haven't seen it in the lineup.

I am interested to know also about those apples.. everytime I see them I want to order them. They are a little pricey but not too bad and they look so delicous..I bet they are worth it cheesy

One of my Facebook friends (who now lives in Hawaii) said that Christmas trees were going up at Macy's today!!!

No Fair! Waaaaaaaaaa! :sad: It is hot here, I am wearing shorts and I have the air conditioner on. It will be in the 90's all week!

I love this kind of weather also! We are at about 78 degree's.. I am not cold but I did put the kids in socks and thin long pants.

I miss you guys! I keep saying this haha but I have been so busy over and over..ugh anyways that is good that means the Holidays will be coming up fast cheesy. I hope everyone is doing well.. Good afternoon.... been a very busy week this week. Hardley anytime to get on here. Got a few minutes now... tonight the midget football league is having their peprally, our daughter is nervous and excited as this will be her first live cheer.

Hoping to be able to start decorating for fall this weekend. Did buy another Christmas gift the other night.....

Can not believe how fast time is going by...

Wow is it really almost 5pm. Where has the day gone? I got off to a late start but since it was so nice out today I got up and headed south to work. Instead of taking the interstate I hit the country roads and was amazed to see all how many leaves were starting to change. I didn't get as much work done as I wanted to but I had a great day. Now I have to fix dinner and then I will get back on here and try to get caught up. It looks like you guys have been quite busy this morning. I hope everyone had a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is definitely fall here, almost cold nights, cool days, leaves beginning the change (we even get the occasional hot flash!!)
I love this time of the year.

Now that vacation is done, I am scrubbing the house out so it is all set to decorate for Christmas. Enjoying a mug of candy cane hot chocolate in anticipation!!

Here is what my 4 year old grandson did with decorating. I think it looks pretty good and I will keep it like that for a little while. This is not all of my decorations. I will get some more out later.

Here it is the 7th day of school and JP has got pink eye, so he missed today and will miss tomorrow, I had already forgotten how much harder it is to watch the two of them together since all they do is antagonize each other.
I'll be lucky if I leave for work with hair left.

Oh yes...its been chilly here! I woke up this morning and was actually cold. Ahhhhh...what a nice change!

Well Christmas friends...we are nearing the end of another day (...closer to Christmas)!

Just brought home our new computer. The last one was soooooooo old and I could barely do anything and it was terribly slow. Its been WONDERFUL to listen to MCR while reading the threads. I couldn't do that before.

Oh...this Christmas music...it sure does soothe the heart and soul - and lightens any load on my mind. Such a blessing.

Almost bed time again...well at least time to go upstairs, I usually read for a couple of hours before actually going to sleep.
It is so strange not having to go to work everyday. I really miss my kids.
