Good Morning Christmas Pals,
The weekend is almost here, and we are another day closer to the Christmas season. I am up bright and early today for some reason. I am enjoying a cup of tea while visioning how to rearrange the furniture to make room for the tree this year. I can barely contain my excitement. Yesterday a co-worker gave me a beautiful wooden sign that reads "Santa....I can Explain!!" I thought that was so cute. She is moving and clearing out some stuff. I plan to hang it above the bedroom door of my 17 year old son. It's so appropriate, LOL.
Well pals, I wish you all a day that is Merry and Bright! Be safe in all you do today and I will catch up with you all later. Take care!

Only 9c out this morning, into the single digits!
Hoping to get the bathroom painted today. Had a new tub surround put in and it messed up the wall around it. Oh well, maybe I will put a new color on the walls...or maybe just leave it so I only have a little bit to paint. I'll see how I feel later!

The only sign of Fall I hear are the pecans falling off the tree. They are falling like crazy, hitting my house and making lots of noise!

Good Friday morning, my Christmas friends!
I had plans of doing some work on my business yesterday afternoon, but my brother-in-law called. A HUGE pecan limb broke out of a tree in his yard...right where he normally parks his truck. Luckily, he was still at work when it happened. We had to cut it up into managable sections and haul it off to the woods. That took till almost dark.
Then we had supper at my mother-in-law's restaurant. She caters parties, and this one was at her restaurant, so she called saying she had planty of leftovers. BBQ ribs, fried chicken, mac & cheese...mmm, mmm, mmm!

We lived in Dallas for 6 long years. I remember feeling like a prisoner in our home during the summer. We had an education buying a house in Dallas discovering that, because of the heat, a house facing east/west is worth less than one facing north/south.
We enjoy being back home in the mountains much more.
Good morning and Happy Friday! Its another beautiful morning here in MD..in the low 60's and sunny. I had my seat heater on in my SUV (wanted to make sure its still working) and stopped for a hot chocolate and pumpkin muffin yum yum! Fall is almost here guys! I hope this weather is here to stay.
I bought my Hubby & Brother a Christmas present and have been updating my lists. I hope to get some more gifts purchased very soon!
Anyone have any fun plans for the weekend? I have nothing planned which is nice sometimes cheesy. Im sure I will be taking the Boys to the park and going for some walks but not much else other then the normal laundry and a little cleaning up. Have a great Friday and wonderful weekend!

Mgramsey, You are right about being a prisoner. People talk about cabin fever during winter months. I get it during the summer more than I ever do in the winter. I try to step outside when the sun is barely out in the morning and it's already unbearable. My spirits are much higher during the winter months than they ever are during the summer! cheesy

I don't know which way is up at the moment, I am home with two kids running a fever right now, LC is at 103.1 and JP is at 100.4, so to say the least it has been very interesting today. I have already called out from work, because I am still waiting to hear from his Dr. to see if I should bring LC in but they're on lunch right now. I am stressed out beyond belief right now.
Today can only get better right?

How scary to have them both sick but then again little kids can get by with higher fevers than adults. Keep us posted!
Ohhhh...feel better Christmasstar! I hear of a few people coming down with something. Maybe has something to do with how quickly the weather changed from summer to autumn???
