Christmas Countdown - 2010

Good Afternoon Christmas Friends,

I hope everyone is having a good day. I am just dreaming of all kinds of Christmas plans for decorations and celebrations. I am so FESTIVE in my mind. On my way into work this morning I called my hubby and told him there are less than 60 days until the tree goes up. Then I started rambling on and on. He said "honey, I'll bet your face is all lit up like a Christmas tree. I can hear the smile on your face in your voice." I don't know what hit me? All of a sudden for a brief moment, the whole world was Red, Gold and Green!! I thought I would pass out from my enthusiasm !!! cheesy

Then suddenly I heard all these honkin' horns behind me!! I caused everyone to miss the green traffic light and it had now turned red again, LOL!!! So I guess thats where all the colors came from, LOL. I guess they didnt appreciate having to wait for the light to change again!!! I am sure they called me a few choice words or two. :-?
Wow!! I was quickly brought back to reality. So much for that moment of Christmas spirit....LOL!!!!!

Good Afternoon Everyone!!!!!!!!! I don't know what happened to the fall like weather we were having but I want it back. It is currently 85 degrees here with a high of 90 predicted. I have been busy doing some online training classes for work today. I have to do them once a year as a refresher on how to do my job the "correct" way. I don't plan on doing much the rest of today. I have to babysit my nieces for awhile tomorrow so I will probably just lay around and save my energy. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Caninemom...sometimes I crack myself up!!! I can really get wrapped up and caught in the moment when I think about Christmas. I go into my own little Christmas world. I guess I better keep in mind that not everyone shares my Christmas joy....but it's their loss I guess, LOL!!! cheesy
 
Good afternoon! I hope everyone is having a great day!!!! It is sunny out and my kind of temperature and I am inside today working - at least I can see outside and watch the leaves fall from the walnut trees - what a great sight! Hoping to get a walk in later.
Last night the Loons lost their game so are not going to the championship. They blew two games in a row - it was unbelievable how bad they played!! My baseball buddy called me shortly after the game went off the air and we had a great venting session - he cheered me up immediately :)

Good evening, everyone!

Back at night again. Well, tomorrow is the big day. No, not Christmas yet... It would be a travesty to miss the entire Season. 100 Days. Wow! It was another long day at school. Three two hours classes with a long break in between. Thankfully, there was some group work to be done. Although it is not completed, we certainly have an idea of what we should be doing!

High were about mid-teens today (lower 50s). Quite chilly, even for this time of year. The trees are starting to change. Plenty of beautiful nature in North Bay. As I mentioned before, I will take some photos. I think the best time for photos will be in about two weeks. Lots of beautiful red leaves coming through now though.

12,000 by the start of the Season? I think that is very doable, Binger. Great goal to set. From there, I am sure we can easily hit 15,000 by Christmas! But, it is your duty to set the goals and write the operas!

Great to see that everyone seems to be enjoying themselves and are just as excited for tomorrow as I am. I mean, we have all been counting down for so long! Amazing how it does not feel like it has been that long though, isn't it? Well, time for me to go. I think I am going to hang out with some friends from the program and enjoy myself a little tonight. Not too much though. 8:30 class tomorrow!

Have a great Wednesday evening, everyone. The work week is more than halfway done and with a milestone tomorrow, the day will certainly fly by and bring us one more step to the weekend!

Wow! Christmas can be dangerous! Lol! It's nice to go to the happy place of Christmas. =)

I also heard a Christmas commercial on the radio, it was for tickets for The Tran-Siberian Orchestra Christmas show in Connecticut November 6, it was just nice to hear. a little Christmas music in a commercial.

I think the tickets went on sale today for the December show here. Not sure if we will be going but I sure want to!

I can't wait to see the leaves fall here. They don't really change to pretty colors though, they just die and fall. Lol.

One hundred days...Incredible!!!

I wanted to say a quick thank you to my friends here at MMC. It was twenty years ago tomorrow that God saw fit to give me a second chance and a fantastic life. It is the people who have faced great challenges that I most connect with, mostly because I faced one once and know the goodness it brought me.

I don't mean to be cryptic, private message me and I'll gladly explain...But thank you my friends for giving me gifts you could never know the full value of and for being such an important part of my life.

My understanding there is a new Halloween show this year, I hope it will be as good as the previous halloween and thanskgiving speicals.
