Good Morning!
That one used to confuse me too, never made sense that the count seemed a day behind the counter at the top of the page. So I asked Crown about it and was told that the count post is done in the morning when there is still over 16 hours in the day, so it is counted as the day before. Does that make it all clear as mud? Hope I explained it right.
Essentially.
I guess you could say we are simply rounding it off.
Since we are over 99 1/2 days off from Christmas, it makes sense to say 100 days.
Following that forward to Christmas Eve morning, you would not say zero more days to Christmas, would you? That would mean it was Christmas Day already, skipping the rest of Christmas Eve. (And we wouldn't want to do that would we??)
Regardless of how you see it, submitted for your approval is my interpretation of the count:
Days to the Season: 58
Days to Christmas Day: 100
And regardless, the
100 DAY WINDOW HAS BEEN OPENED!! and we hereby pass through into double-digit territory (when things start going in fast motion).
Better start thinking about those Christmas Season plans, eh?
Well, we reached 94 degrees here yesterday, even hotter than was predicted.
Didn't feel that hot to me, so the humidity must have been down.
Currently it is 72 here, calm and sunny.
Well, can we "count" on everyone to have a Thrilling Thursday and think ahead with anticipation to Weekend Eve tomorrow?
(I thought so!)
