Christmas Countdown - 2010

I am still feeling lousy, and now LC has caught it, I guess that is the problem when your wife works in a school and have a son in a school, I always get hit hard by these viruses in the beginning of the school year. Back to work for the week today, I cannot call out need to save my call outs for the winter if the roads are to treacherous to take a chance on driving.

Well not a great Monday today....hubby had an accident at work that required several sitches under his eye. Thankfully his eye is fine but he is going to have a shiner for a while. I think his pride is hurt more.... Well just got done paying bills Yuck!!!! Night all.

Sorry to hear. I hope he heals quickly!

Welcome back Holiday!

Was missing Christmas so much yesterday that we started getting the inflatables out and put them up and washed them off. Gonna do a few more today. If this gets bad enough we may even go ahead and check all of the Christmas lights.

At that rate you might have the whole house decorated by October 1st! cheesy

Yesterday was a lazy day but very Christmasy!

I did some online Christmas shopping and got quite a few gifts. I made some pumpkin custard, listened to Christmas music and watched some Christmas movies.

Who knows what's next, set the Christmas Tree up!? :sparkle:

Even though its still in the 90's here in TN, it appears by Sunday we should finally be hitting the 80's and Monday 79.

It was suppose to be in the 90's all week here but they changed it to a high of 87 today. Still warm but at least the temp is dropping!

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Well, I didn't get ALL the grass cut yesterday, but I got most of the tall stuff, anyway. This afternoon, I'm taking my son to his guitar lesson. After the lesson, the music store is having an open house for guitarists, including deals, food and, best of all, guitars being re-strung for $2 each! That includes strings and labor! Assuming the string quality is good, I'm taking four guitars with me. You can't beat that price!

Just finished reading a news story saying that owing to the depressed economy, it is expected that stores will decorate for Christmas earlier this year to try to jump start holiday buying.
Last year Crabtree decorated by mid-October. Will be interesting to see when they do it this year!

OMG...I love it. I couldnt contain myself when I read this post. My co-workers wanted to know what was so funny. Since they are such scrooges around here, they just wouldnt understand. So I kept this one to myself. Some things are just too precious and sacred to share with some of the people in the outside world. They don't appreciate the anticipation and excitement at all.

I have been thinking about getting my Santa's down out of the attic and taking pictures of all of them. I am trying to figure out where they will all go this year but I bought so many after Christmas last year that I don't even remember what I have anymore.
