Good Afternoon Everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It has been a lazy morning for me. I got a new taste of home holiday book in the mail today that has all thanksgiving recipes in it. I have been sitting here looking at it for the last couple of hours with my mouth watering and wishing that the temperature would go back to normal so I could try some of them out. I have also been on the phone nonstop it seems like with my sisters. Both of them are bored today and just keep calling me to ask questions. While on the phone with them I have been trying to get them to give me some Christmas gift ideas but they are not cooperating. This afternoon I am going to take a nap and then go down to the horse track with my neighbor for a couple of hours. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

on the way from buying the shoes...it was about a one and half hour drive....Kandice and her great-grandmother were on the backseat...they both fell asleep....with the baby sleeping with her head on her great-granny s shoulder...it was the cutest

Tomorrow - tomorrow - Fall will be here tomorrow - it's only a day - away!!! :hello:Today, I woke up to a dry CRACK-BOOM! The rest of the storm followed later and kept whipping around the lake and back again until it was just rain, but now the sun is almost visible for the last day of summer.

Only today we are having a weather hot flash! 25c, a light warm wind blowing.
Dallas Cowboys Stadium is decorating for Christmas! I just saw it on the news. They showed a crew out there putting up LED lights on the trees surrounding the stadium. There comment was, "Christmas in September"? Went on to say it's so early! Lol!

Anyway...not going to get into it again now. But I wanted to put my two-cents here on the Christmas countdown thread! I cannot stay long here tonight - but rest assured, I'm starting to feel better and will be back more often from here on in.
Okay - so I have to say that Walmart has started putting out their Christmas decorations here! I couldn't believe it! Normally - they don't start bringing anything out until after Halloween (in Brantford). So - I was soooooooooo happy when I saw that!
I then thought that if Walmart started...Canadian Tire most surely would! So - we took a trip there and...voila...Christmas decorations!!!! Oh...they joy that brought to me...I cannot even explain.
Anyway my dear Christmas friends...I shall wish you a merry evening - and I'll be seeing you again back here!
