so o´malley the cat stepped into the glass...and then turned into your husband....dreams are a weird thing aren´t they

I once dreamed that I was getting married to AJ from the Backstreet Boys...u know...the one with the sunglasses and tattoos......and when we danced our wedding dance the record was played on a flagpole...which seemed to be most normal thing to ever happen

:rudolph: Well, let's celebrate the day with my sharing of the Christmas nightmare I had on the eve of the 24th of Sept.

In the wee hours of Sept. 23rd well closer to the 24th, I had a horrible nightmare. I was standing outside the home where I celebrated eighteen Christmases and the winds were relentlessly messing with my endeavour to get the Christmas Lights up and then a larger gust forced the strings of lights out of my hands. I kept trying to secure them to the eaves and pine trees (yes at the same time).
I heard neighbours shouting, "our lights are blowing all over the street!" I spun around and the gust and swhoosh of a wave forced all the red, green and clear lights to burst all over the ground.
I called for O'Malley to come in, but he walked across the broken bulbs and I stopped him inside the front entry to remove the glass from his paws.
When O'Malley turned into my husband, I woke up.

:yahoo: Only a Christmas nut could dream something like that near the first day of Fall. HaHa.

Oh my !! What a dream !!! I have a recurring nightmare that involves zombies........:-? (nothing obviously to do with Christmas)

Good evening, everyone.

A little late tonight. It has been a busy day. Normally, I am only at school until 12:30 on Fridays, but we had a meeting with our faculty advisor. I am excited to be able to teach in front of him and see what his feedback will be. My placement begins in just over two weeks. It's hard to believe that I could be teaching in a classroom in less than three weeks!

I hope it remains exciting for you.

Crazily, I was not home until 5:30 and have been a little busy ever since. I had to go to the gym for a bit before coming home. I am helping train a friend in the gym. She's amazing. She has quite the heart and determination that she is an absolute joy to train.

I suffered a back injury and haven't trained for two weeks. It's driving me nuts, but thankfully the physio is paying off and I'll be back it by this Wednesday. I bet you can imagine how much I miss it.

The leaves continue to change at a beautiful rate here in North Bay. I really need to bust out my camera soon. Unfortunately, most of my days are spent indoors right now. So many assignments!

I noticed trees up by the ski hill finally changing, closer to my home, there's not much change happening. I expect by next weekend and the weekend after they'll be at their finest!

There seems to be a lit-up display in the window across the street from my residence here. It looks like it could be Christmas-related, but I cannot see that far. I will have to investigate it tomorrow night. It is incredibly windy outside right now. If it is Christmas-related, I will be very excited! It's almost time to Blossom!

I'm waiting for the neighbours across the creek to get their blowmold snowman and clear lights going - they're nearly always the first to get moving.
I hope that everyone has enjoyed their Friday. Three months from this date we will all be joyously sitting in our homes and getting ready for a visit from St. Nick. Another magical season will be had.

Have a great night, everyone!

I can hardly wait, but I will. Still have plenty of shopping to do. I'll need a bit more gift wrap and SCOTCH tape, but I have all the cards I need.

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!!!!!! My plan for today involves a little bit of QVC and then some more QVC. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:treeguy: I've never gotten into QVC - still I hope you enjoy the offerings!

I'm checking in too. This has been an exhausting week at school. One student is SO ADHD that he is out of control. We have decided to rush a team meeting for him. Supposedly he is on meds. If he is, then they are the worst meds in the world or someone else is getting them!! Calgon, take me away!

Cherylle in CA

Hey, if the meds aren't working, the dose doesn't match his body weight or it's not ADHD and they better look at another opinion for the diagnosis - it sounds like all he's getting is a joyful lift.
 Good luck working it out.

Checking in late today. Yesterday was a great, crazy and tiring day.
I went out in the truck with my girlfriend, soon to be my co-driver. We went to Meadville Pennsylvania to pick up a load. On the way back the truck broke down on I 79 about 1/2 to Erie. Fortunately we made it to a rest area that had a washroom.
We pulled in at 1pm in the afternoon. It was 1am before the tow truck arrived with a new tractor for us to use to get the trailer home. The one the broke down was towed back to the truck yard the next day.
We got home again at 8am this morning.
I am tired!
Now I got a good taste of the not fun side of trucking. But at least I had a friend to share it all with!
Hopefully it will go smoother on the next ride! =)

Hi friends... cant believe how fast the time is going by now..its been a rough week.. Im still trying to fight off this cold. Yesterday I used a sick day and didnt go into work which is rare for me. My body ached..I feel a lot better but still very congested today. Hope to catch a little QVC tomorrow with all that Christmas spirit. Not sure why I am up so late since the kids have been in bed since 9:30. I need to catch up on some rest since Im still sick. Have a nice weekend everyone. 2 months until Thanksgiving Eve in the States and of course 3 months until Christmas Eve...not to rush it but I know it will be here fast! We also had record breaking temps today 96..this better be the end of the 90's! Goodnight all
I hope you get better soon!

Sure. Two dozen chocolate chocolate chip just came out of the oven!!!!!!! You better hurrry though because I don't think they are going to last long. Mom already has a plate full along with a glass of chocolate milk.
My favorite cookie! Send some my way!
Good evening Christmas friends,

Cooler went down tonight at work, had to get all the Hot dogs, and bratwurst off the shelves to save them. I have a short shift on a Saturday for a change tomorrow, which is good for the lack of rest I have been getting. I forgot that QVC Christmas was on tonight I will watch a little before the sandman overtakes me.

Have a good night!
Ugh! It's a drag when things break down at work! I have to clean a pet shop and feed animals. One day our water was off. I had to give our pets water and wash dishes, etc. The city shut the water down temporarily due to something going on in our area but it sure put me behind.
And a good Saturday morning' to you all, Christmas friends!

Boys...do I ever have some cathing up to do here today! But...its Saturday - so on my breaks (from cleaning) I will read up on how everyone is doing!

We had icky weather yesterday (hot and humid)...but we are back to Autumn temps today! I don't know about you - but the cool, crisp weather puts a little skip in my step!

I think the word of today is...COURAGE! Thanks to one of my dear friends (ya...I'm talking to you RadioJohnD!)

Well...gonna run for now - but I cannot wait to get back here throughout the day. Hmmmmm...I think Christmas music is in order, don't ya think?

Have a merry day, everyone!
Courage is a good word! I am glad to see you back here and hope you can continue to come back as often as you were! =)

Oh my! That is sad but so happy you woke up and O'Malley is fine!

Is this the weekend for dreaming about cats and turning out weird? I had one about a cat last night.

Here it is and I think it will be more strange than your dream Auntie! I was not going to share this on here but seeing you had a weird one too, I guess I will. cheesy

A little about the cat: We have the sweetest stray cat in the whole world that hangs around our neighborhood. My neighbor and I feed him and I think other people down the block feed him. Sometimes I won't see him for days or several weeks and then suddenly he just shows up. I am relieved when I see him because I worry about him all the time. We even named him Larry. Lol!

Now to the dream: Last night I dreamed that I was worried about Larry and wondering how he makes it on his own. Well, I find out Larry has his own checking account, has enough money and is just fine! Ha ha! So I was relieved he had his own money in case the neighbors run out of food for him.

Talk about WEIRD DREAMS!

Track, I have had dreams about famous people. Recently it was about Paul McCartney and I dating? Ok, I love the Beatles but I can't say I have that type of crush on Paul but I have a huge crush on their music! Lol.

I am sitting here in bed watching QVC, drinking coffee with Pumpkin Spice coffee cream and enjoying the forums!

I hope you all are having a great Saturday!

I feel I HAVE to share my nightmare now...keep in mind it has NOTHING to do with Christmas.

It involves me looking out my front window in the living room and seeing all my loved ones who have passed (and there are a LOT) who are all now zombies like in Night of The Living Dead trying to get into the house........Everyone is usually there.....my first husband, my parents, my brothers, and even my furchildren.......In the dream there is nowhere for me to go......I panic and usually wake up too scared to move..........And This is a recurrent dream.

So there.......Like I said, not ANYTHING to do with Christmas but it does fit Halloween !!

Have a great day everyone !!!! :tree:

I live right by Ski Club Road. The tree seemed to suddenly begin to change on the first day of fall. It was eerie, yet beautiful.

It truly is beautiful. Hopefully I can bring my camera to class this coming week - my university is surrounded by nature. Or, if it is nice out today or tomorrow, I will go for a walk and take some photos.

Good Morning, Weekend Friends!

hmmm we are perking along this month.....
Speaking of dreams, I dreamt there were actually 8 dwarfs: Sleepy, Bashful, Doc, Sneezy, Happy, Grumpy, Dopey and Perky.
They were all in Binger's next opera with Bing playing Perky.
I spent most of the dream trying to figure out why they were cast in that role, then it came to me.

OK, with that wee bit of coffee humor aside, on with the count:
Days to the Season: 49
Days to Christmas Day: 91

MILESTONE ALERT! MILESTONE ALERT! MILESTONE ALERT!

Today! The 3/4 mark to Christmas Day 2010.
Wowzers!!
And 7 weeks from today, we enter Christmas Season 2010!
Zounds!!
(Is that enough reason to be happy going into the last weekend of September?)

Calm and sunny outside at this hour here in Raleigh where we stand just under 76 degrees.
We hit 96 yesterday after 99 the day before and are supposed to be back in the 90's again this afternoon.
HOWEVER, by tomorrow it is supposed to be raining and about 20 degrees cooler.
What a change!

OK.
You have a Sensational Saturday and a Wonderous Weekend, Guys!
Keep that Christmas song on your lips and the Spirit of the Season with you.
