Thanks, Brent!
And thanks to everyone for their truly massive support this year!

Well wait no longer, Unchosen.
Our "Christmas Blossoms 2010" thread has just been launched!
Check it out.

Garden Ridge has been up for over a month and they are still stocking...

YABBA!

Good Morning MMC !

Very foggy morning here.
Leaving for church in 1/2 hour so will post more later.

Have a great day everyone!!!! cheesy

Christmasstar, I think the fans that you blew in our direction finally reached here. I actually saw some people wear light jackets yesterday! The highs will be from 70-80 this week but cool mornings. I know the cool air is not here to stay, we will still get some very warm days all through October. I am enjoying this though! cheesy

Well...its a good sign. This is the second time today that I have made it onto MMC!

Ohhhhhh...I'm just listening to "Where are you Christmas" by Faith Hill. Its one of my faves! Probably top 3.

I sure hope everyone is enjoying their day!

:snowball: Surprise! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OtMoBGphuTU&feature=related

cheesy That'll pick you up and keep you merry all day long 'cause we know it's on the way and feel it within us every single day.

I am off for a visit to Niagara Falls today. Lindsay is having surgery on her legs this week so this is our last hurray before she is stuck there for 2 months (surgery then physio)

Hope you all have a great day!! cheesy
Have a nice time and wishing Lindsay a speedy recovery!
Has anyone in the US seen any stores with Christmas displays out yet? We went to Hobby Lobby and Kmart was just beginning to stock there section up but that's really got me wanting for more.
Yes, our Hobby Lobby here started putting Christmas items out in June! I just went the other day and it was loaded aisle after aisle full of Christmas goodies! cheesy

:)) Ever so slightly our store shelves are hinting at Christmas, but they won't have eveything out until after Halloween.

I'll see if I can scout some photos around the city to add to the Christmas Blossoms thread once the decorations start going up.

I just came on for a few minutes before work, the wife and kids went to a party and I am sitting in a quiet house. I was able to replace the Frosty DVD that LC broke earlier this week on Ebay and only paid $2 for it, so that has made my day thus far.
Ebay has great buys! I am still happy that I picked up Elf dvd for a penny earlier this year. cheesy

Faith Hill has a pretty voice. I am not sure if I heard that song, I think I will look it up.
Back from Niagara Falls. We had a great there, nice and sunny most of the time and not to hot. Got lots of great pictures (will post tomorrow)
Had dinner at Montana's on the way home. cheesy
Cannot wait to see the pictures!

:rudolph: Got the date for this year's local Santa Claus Parade ...

:hello: The theme this year is an Old Fashioned Christmas. The parade will be held on Sunday, November 21st, 2010 at 12:00 p.m - I'll be there with my camera if I don't wind up on a float.

:tree: In addition, our 22nd Annual Old Fashion Downtown Christmas Walk is scheduled for Friday Nov. 26, 2010 Tree lighting ceremony at 6:00PM. Guess I'll bring my mom out if the weather isn't too miserable.

Yesterday Wayne and I went to Dave and Busters and played some games and table shuffleboard. We had fun!

It was rainy and a slight chill in the air. It was GREAT to actually see people wearing jackets!

It's amazing how cool air makes me feels more energetic and happy when it's usually the warm sun that does that for others. This summer has taken everything out of me and this cool air is very welcomed! As I already mentioned, we will still get some warm days off and on throughout the fall.

Good Sunday morning, my Christmas friends!

We're finally getting some rain today!! We really need it.

I'm the drill instructor this morning, getting the family out of bed & ready for church. MOVE IT, MOVE IT, MOVE IT! LET'S SEE SOME HUSTLE! For some reason, I don't think they are appreciating it.:?

I had a great day yesterday. Nancy and the kids were all out doing birthday parties & other stuff. I just sat on my couch and watched TV. I had a glass of sweet tea and a box of Charleston Chew Minis. Perfect!

We'll be going to mom's house for dinner today, and that's always a treat.

I hope you all have a great day!cheesy

Well, get some photos for the Blossoms thread between coffee cups, Bing!

Good Morning, Friends of Anything and Everything Christmas.

We have marched half way through our weekend but over 75% of our way back to Christmas:
Days to the Season: 48
Days to Christmas Day: 90
You are probably wondering what our next Milestone is and just how many are left for 2010.
Well, you could check out the chart at post #1 of this thread or just read further here.
We started 2010 with 18 Milestones (not counting the Season start date and Christmas Day itself) and are down now to.........two.
That's right, TWO!
And the next one is a mere 11 days off: The 90% HOME STRETCH mark to the Season.
Incredible !!

Slightly overcast this morning here in Raleigh where we stand at 72 degrees after a 98 degree high yesterday, another record. We have started out the first 3 days of fall with temps in the mid to upper 90's.
Wow!
Supposed to be much cooler today with rain. We shall see.

Have a Super Sunday, Everybody!

Good morning, friends! Sorry for a my absence the last two days, but I've been so tired. I haven't been able to post because when I log in, I ended up falling asleep before I got to the end of the days posts. My wife ended up shutting down my computer and telling me to go to bed. But now, it's Sunday morning so here I am.

Good news on our next move. We should be in before Thanksgiving, which means I can spend Thanksgiving break decorating. I was worried that we wouldn't get to put up a true until Mid-December, which would have been disappointing, but it's all gonna work out.

Finally, before reading the rest of the boards, I want to tell my friend, Made, congrats on reaching 15,000 and I look forward to reading the next 15,000.
