Good Monday morning! Another day closer to the most wonderful time of the year! :

Thought I smelled a few fireplaces this morning. You know what that means ... we're getting closer to Christmas.

I have already smelled that here and it's only gotten as low as 50 degrees. People get impatient waiting for real cold weather, I don't blame them. I should fire mine up too!

It is VERY chilly here today and I am finished working for now. I am sitting by a fire in our fireplace and I am going to plug in a Christmas movie !! All are invited to join me and we will continue the Christmas party started at Christmas-A-Holic's house yesterday !!!


Checked on Santa's polar bears this morining and they are also feeling quite Christmassy !! They all have new Christmas outfits for this year and I sang some carols with them !!

I missed the party! I had to work then came home sick. =/

I am glad the Polar Bears are doing well!

Friday I went to Bronner's - only had an hour to spend there and I forgot to take my camera - darn!

Lucky you to get to go to Bronners!!!

We had Homecoming at church this morning, with lunch after, then we went to my mom's for the afternoon. Jacob and I worked on his hunting spot, getting small trees and brush cleared away.

Hope all had a great weekend. Good here, but in two weeks it's really going to be great. We are having a Christmas Flea Market and then we are going to head out to Garden Ridge. That night, we are going to eat and then visit Hobby Lobby. That will be fun. Just wish it was next weekend!

I love that all these stores have so much Christmas goodies out!

Another busy fun day is coming to a close, we did our pumpkin picking and the pumpkins were the best and most abundant than I have ever seen before and we have been doing this for the past 10 years, we ended up picking up 6 pumpkins, and their prices were rock bottom. I also got a Christmas sweatshirt that says in green letters "Yuletide" across the front, on a clearance price.

I drove Emma back to Barrie today - and the trip all the way was beautiful, with all the trees changing colour! Ya gotta love it!

Good morning all This morning woke up to the sound of a fanfare passing by our house waking up all the citizens of our town at half past six

They came by your house at 6:30 AM?!? I'd be out there shaking a fist at them! That'll teach 'em!

Good morning everyone! It's cool here this morning, but is suppose to warm up to about 60 with lots of sun. Should be a nice day! I'm hoping to get our hot tub cleaned out today so we can get it filled and start using it on these cool fall nights. Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

I never checked in last night. I came home from work early yesterday sick. Blah! I never turned on computer when I got home, just went straight to bed. I still feel a bit under the weather but hopefully after coffee and breakfast I will feel a little better.

And that serves to point out just how nice it is here. I cannot recall the last time (if ever!) there was any kind of "attacking" type of post at MMC. We are a remarkable group, aren't we?

I completely agree, Crown. I've never found another messageboard that is totally devoid of smart-alecs and bad attitudes.

It's a refreshing change from the rest of the internet. Thanks to Jeff, and all the others that help make that happen. It really is a rare gift.

I don't even mind that it's Monday. The weather is beautiful! It's still in the mid-60's, and I have the windows open in my office. There a breeze blowing through, and I have my "mulled cider"-scented candle acting a a paperweight, too. Super!

I actually wore a jacket to work yesterday! This morning I had to put a jacket on to step outside. I LOVE IT! I do not have the air conditioner on and it's chilly in my house. Yeah! cheesy

We are coming up on Thursday, but we'll be travelling a lot between Maggie Valley and Maryville, TN for their Foothills Fall Festival. It should be lot of fun, but I wish we were spending more time in NC! cheesy

I haven't had any sightings in my area. No trees are up in stores, no displays, no decorations.....like Yukon Cornelius says "Nuttin". I am getting kinda bummed out about it. I know many people like halloween, but I can't wait for it to come and go. I think the stores OVERSTOCKED this year for halloween and they refuse to have Christmas items overshawdow it in hopes that people will focus on halloween. Maybe I am being too extreme, but that's what it feels like when you dont see a single bell, bough, or holly!! I mean, I have been waiting and waiting patiently. And now I feel its time and I am here in South Jersey on my Christmas bandwagon riding SOLO !!!!

Ok I am done ranting....please forgive me......I shall step down from my soap box now!! I hope everyone has a DELIGHTFUL DAY and a WONDERFUL Weekend.

Well, I couldn't take it much longer and I went out in search of Christmas this weekend. And guess what....I found it in LOWES!!! They had 3 aisles of Christmas decos going up and an island of trees!!! I felt so much better instantly. I called my DH, and I was almost in tears. He said "ok honey...i'm glad you found it, but try not to bring home anything !!!" LOL.

I just realized........I hit 15,000 posts some days ago !!! Wow.....I really just noticed !cheesy

Wow!!! Only 11 more Mondays??? I have a feeling they are going to start flying by. Now I have to see if I can really wait until 11/13 to put up my tree. Knowing how close we are, it's getting harder to resist the temptation of putting it up.

Good Morning Christmas Friends,

Well I finally found some Christmas displays going up in the stores and I am LOVING it!! I hope everyone had a nice weekend. Here in NJ it is kinda rainy but it looks like the Fall Season has arrived and is here to stay. I did some Christmas shopping this weekend so I am really feeling festive. I didn't buy much, but I still feel like I made a huge accomplishment. I was at Walmart yesterday, and the person who works in seasonal told me the seasonal aisle of Walmart will change from Halloween themed to Christmas Themed in 2 weeks. So I am excited about that. Well I hope everyone is having a Marvelous Monday!! Take care and keep those visions of sugar plums dancing in your head!!! cheesy
