Boo, Just saw the 7 Day forcast and it appears that fall will be taking a break fri thru sunday it wll be in the 80's.

They are calling for the same thing here.:-?

We did not get the promised frost :-?, but I am sure it will be here soon!

We didn't get it either. :-? We still have one more shot at it tonight before it starts to warm up again.

I never checked in last night. I came home from work early yesterday sick. Blah! I never turned on computer when I got home, just went straight to bed. I still feel a bit under the weather but hopefully after coffee and breakfast I will feel a little better.

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!!!!! It is a cloudy day here in central Indy where we currently stand at 40 degrees!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am off to a slow start today. I am going to blame it on a disappointing day of sports yesterday for all of my favorite teams. I have to go babysit my youngest niece this afternoon while my sister takes my other niece to the doctor. One of our local police officers was killed last week in a hit and run. He was part of the bicycle patrol and was on a training ride along with two other officers at the time of the crash. They are having his viewing and funeral at the high school because it is the only building in town big enough to hold everyone. My sister lives close to the school so it is going to be a traffic nightmare around there today and tomorrow. The police are in contact with a lawyer that is representing the woman who hit him but so far she has not turned herself in. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

One of our local police officers was killed last week in a hit and run. He was part of the bicycle patrol and was on a training ride along with two other officers at the time of the crash.

That is sad. =(

hahahah well i knew they were coming, it's a tradition here, but fortunately they only come by once a year... i think my neighbour is WAY worse.. he sells Donor Kebab (i don't know if it's comon but it's marrocan food with bread and meat) and on some days he remains open till 8 in the morning, it's horrible, we can't get any sleep like this sorry for me complaining

They are expecting over 2,000 officers from all over to be here for it tomorrow. Every street around the high school was packed this afternoon for the viewing. The school district is still trying to decide if they are going to cancel school tomorrow. They are worried that they won't be able to get the buses out on schedule because of the funeral procession. The last time we had a funeral for a officer here it took 3 hours for the procession to make it's way thru town and they are expecting this one to be bigger.

They have also instructed the kids at the high school that they were to wear dress clothes today and not jeans and tshirts.

Welcome back, JOHNOR! Northern Ontario is in a similar state. It is quite beautiful. Although I do not look forward to the transitional period that has no leaves and no snow, it only makes me long much more for the Christmas Season and atmosphere to arrive!

They just announced on the news that the lady who hit the police officer here in town has turned herself in. She said that she was distracted by her 3 kids in the car. That still doesn't explain why she didn't stop right away and why she waited until today to turn herself in when she hit him on tursday morning.

I am glad at least she did turn herself in. Small comfort for the officer's family but still. At least she finally did the right thing. So sad. Hope your nieces are doing better soon !! Thank you for the update on the accident.
