Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

As far as I know, it'll be another uneventful day today. I have to get to work cleaning up a set of "train cars" that my dad built. They pull behind a 4-wheeler or a golf cart and can carry one child each. He built 9 cars that link end to end, orginally for my kids, but now we loan them out to several churches and festivals. Our school fall festival is this weekend, and the train is my son's 7th grade class fundraiser. It should be fun!

I hope you all have a great day! cheesy

Good morning everyone... a chilly start to the morning but I like it. I can not believe how fast time is really going now. Halloween is less then 2 weeks away.... Not much going on today... just going to plan more for the upcoming holidays....

have a great day!

Middling Morning to you, my Friends.
(Middle of the week, that is.)

Straight to the count:
Days to the Season: 24
Days to Christmas Day: 66
Under half a week away now from the 3 weeks mark to Christmas Season 2010.
Just think of that. Three Weeks!
(And it seems like such a short time ago it was 52, doesn't it?)

Quite overcast today with a threat of rain and a predicted high of only 67.
We are at 60 right now.

My father and I had a great visit to the State Fair yesterday.
The exhibits were dependably good as was the food. Had some great barbeque and biscuits at the same little booth we have frequented for the last 40 years.
That's one of the main things I like about the Fair. A constant in a too-rapidly changing world.

Hey!
It's Hump Day. Shispering Pines Day. Carl Day. Fired Twinkies Day. Sweet Southern Iced Tea Day..........Experimental Coffee Day.
Be there or be square.

You have a Wonderful Wednesday, Folks!

It's neat to have/work on something that belonged to your dad. I have a 1967 Chevy pickup truck my dad bought new. My wife doesn't like it but I could never get rid of it. I was 9 when dad bought it and it is like a member of the family.

been watching polar express with kandice, her friend jann and his momma....they luved it and where highly exited when the reindeer and santa appeared...and very sad when they boy lost the bell

Yesterday as I was going up the street I noticed the old man across the street was hanging his icicle lights. On October 19! My wife said the expression on my face was classic. I now have the green light to decorate for Christmas when I want to, as long as we don't turn the lights on until after our Halloween Party on the 30th. So today will be a lot of pulling out boxes and checking lights and maybe even putting up a few around the windows. Woo Hoo!!!

Welcome to Wednesday! Leaves are falling and the air is cool! William is walking more and asking for me when I'm at work. Its cute. At work (yet again!). Helping people out with their computers. Sigh lol. Can't wait to go home!! Christmas is on my mind all the time these days (When isn't it?!). Well I better get back to work! Have a great day all!

Still trying to get over this bug. Went to work yesterday - had a setback, and am home again today.

Mercedes is happy about me being home!
I hope you get plenty of rest and get well! My dogs love when I am home too. =)

That sounds so cool! My kids have rode on something like that before.

I am glad you had a wonderful time at the fair with your father.

If your Experimental Coffee is available in decaf I will take it! I switched to decaf last week. cheesy I did it for health reasons and actually feel a whole lot better! I really didn't think it would make much difference but it worked. I am jealous of those that can eat or drink anything and do just fine. My system is all messed up. Lol!

Awesome!

Aww, how sweet!

My favorite sport is football but I will root on any home team. I have been watching some baseball lately seeing how well the Rangers are doing! I have been to a few Rangers games in the past but it's never been one of my favorite sports. I am actually enjoying the games and sure hope the Rangers take it alllll the way to the World Series!

They will be playing this afternoon. I plan to watch some of it.

By the way, thanks for the reminder on HSN Christmas! I have it on now! =)

Your Welcome!!!!!!!!! cheesy

I have been watching off and on all morning. They are not as good as QVC but it is christmas stuff.

Good Afternoon Everyone!!!!!!!!! It is a windy day here and it is defintely putting a chill in the air. My plan for today is to get plenty of rest. I have to babysit my 2 nieces the next 2 days so I know I am going to need all of the energy I can get. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!

Good afternoon,

I just finished raking the leaves, I think I counted 3,426,338 leaves or it just felt that way, my arms feel like jelly from raking. I told myself no MMC until I was done, that way I had a little treat to look forward to. Also, don't dress a 2 y/o in an orange shirt, I lost site of him and I called for him, and he said right here daddy, he was in the leaf pile which he matched perfectly I couldn't see him. cheesy

Have a great Wednesday!

evening everybody, feeling more positive today.

isn't it odd how everything seems that bit better once you've slept on it?

no time for sadness, far too much excitement going on, after all we are at the home stretch!!!cheesy

Wow!!! Lights up on 10/19. That is GREAT!! Well a few times I had mine up a week or two before Halloween too. I still didnt turn them on until after Thanksgiving but it sure was nice to be able to have them done BEFORE it got too cold out. So go ahead and test those lights and hang up a few strands. I am so happy for you if you can get them up early. Sure makes less work and more time to enjoy the season.

Aww...He asks for you...that is SO SWEET. Youre a great dad. And now that he is really walking, you are going to be a very BUSY dad trying to keep up and keep him out of stuff. But they become cherished memories all too soon so enjoy it while you can.

Yep, I think about Christmas alot lately too. I cant wait for 11/13 to get that tree up. For some reason I am really feeling more Christmas Spirit than ever. But of course I am not complaining. cheesy
